Way too small

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: Friendly Front Desk Staff
Smallest Hotel room I have ever stayed in. For the price ($209) it was ludicrous.

7 day road trip

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Location and area.
Cons: Pricing
Location: I used to live in this area so I was comfortable staying here, most of our activities were at least 5-20 miles away. Its LA tho, there's things to do.
We enjoyed this hotel. Staff was fun to interact with, facility was clean and it was close to the highways in a safe area.

Close to Skirball Cultural Center

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Stayed at this particular Courtyard Marriott because I was working a wedding at the Skirball Cultural Center. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I didn't love the entrance to the hotel, which was a bit tough to find off the street, but what can you do about that! Honestly, the only problem I had with the hotel was the parking! Came back to the hotel late one night and there was literally one parking spot left in the garage, and of course the car next to me was way over the line! So I backed my car in to get real close to the wall and then climbed over the center console to get out - ridiculous! Other than the parking situation, my stay was pleasant.

Not worth the money

Posted Jul 28, 2014
I was really bummed out. The swimming pool was only 4 feet and the room was so small. Our suitcases Barely fitted in the hotel room. It was not worth the money. And the city Sherman oaks sucks.

Dear lala, Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm sorry to hear that your stay with us was disappointing. Our swimming pool is used by our guests of all ages. For safety, the pool is not made for diving. I can appreciate how that could be disappointing. I hope that you had a chance to enjoy the pool, spa, and sun deck, despite the pool depth limitations. We offer four types of guest rooms at our property. These range from our 650 sq. ft. King Suites to our Standard King- Smaller room with 240 sq. ft. In the description of the guest rooms, we identify our smaller rooms as both "smaller" and located "next to the elevator". I can understand how this room may not have met your expectations and I'm sorry that was the case. Our regular guest rooms #Standard room with a sofa bed# offer an additional 100 sq. ft. and this is our most popular room type. We very much value your feedback. Thank you.

Dear traveler, Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm sure it was upsetting to hear freeway noise and I'm sorry that you had this experience. Our location at the corner of the 405 and 101 freeways in Los Angeles is one of the reasons why so many travelers find our location ideal. We have double pained windows installed in each guest room to limit any disturbance. I'm sorry to know that you were still disturbed. Thank you for your feedback.

Vacation

Nice. The only bad thing they charge you $15.00 a day to park in their parking garage.
