Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Westside

Quite, clean and central hotel with great access to major freeways for gaining access to LAX. I have stayed at this hotel three times in the past three years when travelling overseas from Australia and have not been disappointed

The room was a standard layout and quality room. Bathroom was standard size, and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Air/temperature control was easy and worked well. Water pressure in the shower was excellent. About 15 minutes after checking in the front desk called to ask if everything was okay in our room and if we needed anything. That was a nice surprise. The one thing we missed was a small refrigerator. We would have appreciated one to keep some drinks and medications cold. It was inconvenient that the only option for breakfast was a buffet which cost an additional $13.95, so we had to drive somewhere to get a small breakfast. There is nothing within walking distance.

The food at the hotel was pretty good.

Within walking distance to mall and shops, you don't to drive. The hotel is clean and good service with friendly staffs. Only I missed before my reservation is the daily $12.00 parking fee.

Location is excellent (easy freeway access, large mall next door, and central to West side and LAX). Rooms were clean and comfortable with all amenities working. What was most surprising and excellent about this hotel was the staff. Everyone from the front desk, to the dining and cleaning staff, as well as the parking attendants were superb in accommodating all of our needs. I was overwhelmed by their friendliness and caring. I will most definitely stay again.
