“silent”

“Not the best choice”

The hotel was surprisingly difficult to find. It looks like an apartment complex from the road so we drove past it 3 times before we finally found it. "Days Inn" sign was not clearly visible...maybe we were just really tired. The room had old shag carpet which was cleanish, but musty smelling. Room was large, but VERY dated. No free breakfast which was disappointing. Didn't get directions to our room from front desk either, but somehow we found it. Weird hotel setup and didn't feel the safest by myself even during the day. Probably wouldn't stay there again.

“Days Inn Glendale”

The hotel was clean, with the exception of a large stain on the rug. The pool and hot tub were clean and a great temperature. The bathroom was clean and a good size The staff was helpful

“Good, convenient hotel for the money”

We took a chance with an unpublished rate hotel and saved some money. Our only complaint was that our kids thought the beds were too small. The front desk people were helpful. There was no refridgerator but ice was easily available. The room was large and quiet and the bathroom was nicely arranged. The wireless internet was free and worked very well.

Dining

The Glendale Galleria is less than a mile away and has an excellent international food court. We ate sushi both nights while the kids ate hamburgers with us at the same table.

“Great value”

We had originally booked a different hotel over toward Burbank, but our room there was disgusting so we came to this hotel instead. We were quite pleased with the room and the hotel in general. Our room was larger than I expected it to be, and it was quite clean even though the building seemed to be a bit older. The staff even called us after we got up to our room to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. Everything in the room worked as expected. The pool and hot tub were really clean and in good condition. I found this hotel to be a great value. The staff was friendly and everything about the hotel was satisfactory or better. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised!

Dining

For breakfast, go to Foxy's down on nearby Colorado Street. For dinner, hit up Sedthee Thai, just a couple blocks away on Brand Blvd.

“Poor location.”

Location somewhat poor.Hotel and restaurant staff great.

Area recommendations

I am not aware of other locations in this city. The area appears to have a higher crime rate than others around the City. The security @ the hotel was good.

“Great for what we needed”

The hotel was perfect for a bunch of girls who just needed some where to change and crash on my 27th birthday. The first room they gave us we found to be occupied when we put our key in the door and found a man laying across the bed. (it did provide a good laugh however) the second room they got us have a razor left in the bathroom and a band-aid on the bed (gross) BUT over all it was exactly what we needed a place to change and then sleep when we got in from the club at 3am :-)

We partied in Hollywood at a club called Kress it was fun!!!

“Nice pick for the price”

This hotel is kept very clean. There were vacuum track marks on the floor every day. The bathroom had a big sink and enough room to feel comfortable. The only complaint was that there was no fridge, but at the price it's hard to complain about that. We never walked around the immediate area, but it seemed pretty safe.
