Disappointing... I was put in the smoking section

I have no clue why in the world they put me in the smoking section...smelled like a bar.

Our stay was comfortable and the staff were nice. The carpet in our room needed a redo, but for the price, it was a good place to stay!

Pros: Clean and some helpful staff.
Cons: Remove smoking rooms.
Location: 10 min drive from Rose Bowl.
Enjoyed my stay, there were a few staff members who weren't very accommodating but others stepped in and helped us when we had questions.

Great staff,rooms are horribly outdated and shabby

When we walked into the lobby the staff were very nice and accommodating. As soon as we passed the lobby and entered the hallway, it was awful!!! The heat was unbearable! We were in the 6th floor. As soon as we stepped out of the elevator, there was a horrible smell in the hallway! We got to out room and noticed the wallpaper was dingy and falling down. The light fixture in the bathroom looked like it was going to fall down any minute, there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom so it made it very hot a muggy in the room when we took showers. The toilet didn't want to flush either. The carpets were very stained also. The parking sucks. The restaurant is pretty bad too. We had breakfast there and it was decent, but the atmosphere was so unbelievably crappy. the decor seriously hasn't been updated since the 1980s. No joke! It's a shame because the staff really are wonderful and they deserve to work in an environment that reflects that.

Nice place to stay

Pros: The pool is very nice. The beds are comfortable.
Cons: The walls are a little thin so you can hear people next door. The elevators are a little rickety. The bars of soap are very tiny.
Location: The 134 freeway exit is nearby, so you are close to just about everything.
We stayed here many times when our daughter lived in Glendale. We had guests stay here when she got married. It's clean and convenient to the freeway. It's not a new hotel or even a 4 star, but each room has a microwave and refrigerator. The water pressure in the shower is a bit low, but not a problem. It has plenty of free parking and a decent restaurant on the premises. The neighborhood is okay and seems safe. It is adjacent to an extended stay where it seems most people are on a permanent stay, but except for the parking lot, they are not connected to the hotel in any way.

Slightly older but comfortable hotel, helpful staf

Pros: the manager was very helpful in our situation of accidentally staying another night. and we are very greatful.
Cons: the lift could be improved but that is a minor point.
spent 4 days here, it was relatively close to the attractions in LA. the hotel and the rooms were slightly old but the large, clean and comfortable. i accidentally booked one less night than required, but the staff helped to book us for the extra night but at the full walk in price. Thankfully when we spoke to the manager he agreed to help us reduce the price to the expedia rate which we appreciated greatly.

Outdated and not as advertised

The first issue was they did not have rollaways like the ad stated, the second issue was the internet was a pain to access and each device had to have its own code to run at the same time, the next issue was the hotel was full and they ran out of towels- the resteraunt! Where do I start? The menu was very limited, the decor was outfdated, the waitress was unfriendly, the drinks were not refillable. We did not stay to eat so I can't rate the food. All of these things would have been disasterous - the only saving grace was the front desk staff was friendly and attempted to be helpful.

Glendale hotel

Pros: Convenient and close by people I go there to see.
Cons: Your rates....
Location: Listen to Jazz, see a play and visit relatives and friends.
I stay there everytime I go into Glendale. It's nice and the rooms are comfortable and large. I like pool side because I like to open my drapes some to let the light in. Plus I get wyndham rewards for every stay. Your rates weren't much better than theirs.
