Second time I have stayed here, I would recommend it. Very clean, friendly staff. Secure parking and secure rooms. Loved the stay again.

Great location if u want to be close to sunset blvd and the Kodak theatre. Staff were friendly and accommodating, our flight was delayed and we didn't get to hotel until 1am and we managed to find food within walking distance. Close to train station and all the touristy stuff you are looking for in the area including an easy train ride to universal studios.

The hotel was wonderful for the low price. The staff was helpful and the rooms were clean. The only bad thing was that the beds were uncomfortable!

“Just what we wanted”

My boyfriend and I were on a vacation to Hollywood. We chose Days Inn due to it's location near everything we wanted to see as well as because of the price. It was about a block away from Hollywood Blvd, and we could easily walk to the Chinese Theatre etc from the hotel in less than 5 minutes. Though it was close, but not in, a rough section of town. Our room was clean & decent sized. Breakfast was just enough to get us going. The internet did not work perfectly, it cut out a lot, but with a little patience, it was usable. The hotel was perfect for our needs, we didn't need an expensive hotel for the amount of time we actually stayed in the room. The staff was polite. We were allowed to check in early without hassle and when we asked about checking out late (which we didn't end up doing) we were told it was not a problem. We were able to keep our bags there after check out so we could continue to sight-see until our shuttle arrived 8 hours later. They added a $3 charge ($1/night) for the safe, which we did not use. When I told them we would not be using it they said sometimes they waive the fee if the safe is not used, but since the fee was small enough I did not bother to press the issue. House keeping not only changed the towels and made the bed but folded our clothes and neatened our belongings as well. This made us nervous at first, but nothing was missing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone looking for a place to stay while sight-seeing in Hollywood.

“GREAT AFFORDABLE HOTEL IN WEST HOLLYWOOD!!!”

I was very surprised with this hotel, the location is excellent, the rooms are clean and big enough, and it has very affordable rates. I went to Los Angeles with my parents just for shopping, and I found this hotel which actually exceeded all my expectations. Just in front of th hotel you can find a "Ross Dress for Less" store, within walking distance you can go to the Hollywood & Highland Center (a beautiful Mall), and some blocks away you can also go to a Target Store and Best Buy Electronics. Also the hotel has a very secure underground parking (for a fee), an excellent continental breakfast, and the staff was very helpful!! The only problem that you may find is that the hotel is a little bit old, it needs a renovation, but nothing to worry about, the rooms are very clean, and that's the most important. You can't expect a luxurious hotel for the price, but overall it's a great affordable hotel in a great West Hollywood location, were you can have a very comfortable stay. I will surely return to this hotel, I will tell everyone to give it a chance!!!

“Good place to stay”

My family and I spent five days in Hollywood in March 2007, and the Days Inn was a nice, clean, comfortable place to stay. The hotel has been remodeled in recent years, and the lobby and rooms are nice, and the pool area clean and inviting. The hotel's continental breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Best of all, this hotel is so close (within walking distance) to Grauman's Chinese Theater, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and within close driving distance to Paramount Studios and Melrose Avenue. We would definitely stay here again!

“EXCELLENT Days Inn hotel”

We had 2 double beds and room was very spacious. The fridge was too cold everything would freeze. The bathroom was VERY CLEAN and the shower was nice (built in shower entirely tiled). We agreed if ever in Hollywood again we would definately stay here!!! Previous hotel there was limited parking (a real headache) but at this Days Inn there was plenty. The underground parking was NEVER full. Loved that !!! Breakfast was good and had long hours (6:30 till 10am). Assume location to go anywhere. Was very satisfied. Yes elevator is small and security cards are trickie to use but it's a small inconvinience for all the other great things they offer. I was very pleased and I'm not easy to please :). The beds ~ we hated to get up they were so comfortable.

“I'll keep this hotel in mind”

I'm so happy that i was able to get this hotel. Convenient and safe location. Friendly Staff. The only thing I've noticed was that i think the walls are so thin that you can hear conversation in other rooms during late nite. But overall rate will be extremely satisfied. It really helps to read reviews from previous customers that makes difference where to decide to stay. Thinking the comfort and safe environment & surroundings that can offer to you. To all the Staff in Days Inn/Universal Studios, I salute you for making us feel at home!
