Worse night ever

We came to the City Of Hope to visit my brother who was in treatment for cancer. The room smelled so strong of a pine scented plug in air freshmen trying to cover up a musty Odor. it was almost unbearable. We had to keep the door ajar most of the time we were in the room. Come to find out the musty smell was from all the mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. To top it off the air conditioner squealed all night long keeping us up. Our two night stay there was absolutely miserable. Never again will we stay at a Days Inn.

No good customer service

No wifi.ask them to move on the first floor because we have a 18 month old I'm scared of the stairs they don't accommodate.the lady that work on the front desk is so rude she doesn't have a good CUSTUMER service...definetly not to stay there..,I will tell my family not to stay there

Pros: The area is very good, don't have to worry about getting robbed at night
Cons: Update the rooms...
Location: Don't know not from around that area..
Just stopped in for one night on way to Vegas...hair dryer didn't work....old TV...

It is a good place to stay for the price

The only real complaint for me is that my room does not have hot water for shower.

Disappointed!

After spending a full day at the City of Hope, I was anxious to relax and get some sleep. While the Hotel was obviously going through a renovation process to upgrade the rooms, I was displeased about the following: A. Having to look at a poorly scrapped pop corn ceiling. B. Water stains on the 2nd floor ceiling of the vanity area. C. Beat up furniture throughout the room; including a couch that had a section of the old sofa cushion under stuffed, D. a smoke detector that was extremely yellowed from nicotined or age, E. an exterior staircase to my room appeared unsweeped for a significant amt. of time, a vanity sink that was badly chipped by the overflow, etc.
