“sweet foothills retreat...”

Very nice hotel, rooms are small but very nice... Flat screen tv, ultra clean bathroom & a very comfy bed with lots of pillows, sweet !! The pool, spa & courtyard are gorgeous and very clean. We will stay here again, nice place...

“wonderful- relaxing in Claremont”

absolutely loved staying in Doubletree Hotel in Claremont , Ca for Thanksgiving weekend . comfortable rooms, beautiful grounds, quiet hallways, and an evenig warm chocolate chip cookie as well. would love to have coffee in the lobby .

“Best in Claremont CA area (for the price)”

Great place. Staff is super-attentive, nice. Only issue I had was the shower/tub plugged up. Asked maintenance to fix it, but it did the same thing the following morning. So, I ended my shower with water up to my ankles. Not a big deal. Otherwise, the rooms are very nicely kept. The hotel, itself, has a great exercise room, a great pool, and a nice breakfast, though I didn't partake of breakfast on this particular trip. All in all, great location, great service, nice people, and I will stay there, again, in 3 months when I return to the area.

Area recommendations

The Claremont area is rife with great restaurants and other amenities. It's a college town and can be very quaint, in places.

“Beautiful Claremont CA”

Great hotel! Beautiful location in the foothills and perfect setting for the wedding we attended. Great buffet breakfast as well at the Doubletree. Good rooms and just very peaceful!

Area recommendations

Def hit up Trader Joes! :) We ate at the mexican restaurant in the plaza next door. It was decent probably a better atmosphere at night.

“Would definitely return!”

We found the hotel staff to be very nice, very helpful! The hotel itself is very clean. Breakfast buffet was quite tasty! The only downside was the hotel elevators are extremely small! Not large enough for the hotel luggage cart plus 3-4 people! Also, we requested a roll-away bed prior to arrival and it was in our room when we got there, however, the bed was extremely uncomfortable! You could feel the springs in the mattress! Impossible to get a good nights sleep!!!!! Other than that, we would return and would recommend to others! Oh yes, those chocolate chip cookies are to die for!!!!! (big smile)

Claremont, of course! Its very quaint and if someone you know is planning to attend or visit one of the Claremont Colleges, then the Doubletree is the place to stay! Also, nearby Rancho Cucamonga is a great community!! Lots of restaurants, plenty of shopping, Quake Stadium, nearby Ontario Mills and the Citizens Business Bank Arena for great concerts! Of course, there's the city of San Dimas for Raging Waters, Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park and Puddingstone Lake! As you can see, there's lots to do in the area!!

“Loved it”

The hotel room was extremely clean and the hotel overall was well kept. I don't smoke, but even the ash trays had sand designs in them and I found it amusing. I will definitely be using this hotel again.
