Great location in Santa Monica

Pros: Location, excellent service and friendly staff.
Cons: The hotel is a bit dated.
Location: Great location- close to the beach and shopping.
Hotel is in a great location, close to the beach, Santa Monica pier, restaurants, etc. Easy to get to from the I10. The hotel also has a fitness room and pool so you can lay in the sun. Our room had a sink and fridge and a small couch with a TV in an adjoining sitting room. Great for everyone- couples, families, etc. I should mention that parking at the hotel is an additional $28 per night.

Comfortable, close to beach and good restaurant.

Pros: Great size room for 3 adults. Yummy cookie and restaurant. Close proximity to the beach.
Location: Not far to 3rd St Promenade shopping. Few blocks to Santa Monica Beach and pier.
Very comfortable, well situated and ate at the restaurant quite a bit. Loved the water in the foyer with all the fruit and the cookie.

Get a room away from street for extra quiet; other rooms have view of beach. Clean and comfortable.

Decent location but slightly dated

Good location just 5 minutes walk from buth the shops / nightlife of 3rd street and the pier. Hotel is fine, clean but a bit dated in places, needs a revamp. Looks like it was last refreshed in the 90s. Pool area is good. Staff typically professional as you'd expect in SoCal

Nice hotel and staff but b'fast buffet staff lazy!

Pros: Check-in staff and room were good
Cons: Sack the wait staff at the breakfast buffet and get someone who provides some service to the customers.
Location: Beach, santa monica pier, 3rd St promenade
Hotel was pleasant, checkin and valet staff very friendly. Fresh warm cookies on arrival. Only downside is that the staff at the breakfast buffet were the lasiest and most unhelpful of our entire 3 week stay. Never cleared plates and table wasn't fully set before we were seated. We generously tipped wait staff in every other location in the US but not here. Actually begrudged giving them a tip at all.

Perfect for a layover in LA.

Pros: Friendly helpful staff, and great facilities - pool and gym.
Fantastic experience. Staff were extremely accommodating to us (including 3 young children) who were tired and hungry on arrival. Short walk (10 mins) into Santa Monica shopping precinct and then the beach. A really perfect stop for our last day in the US.

Nice hotel but made a big mistake

The hotel charged us the room - 3 nights almost USD 1,200 - two times in different credit cards. We realized the Hotel´s mistake during the weekend and our Bank back home was closed, so it took 3 days to liberate the extra charge. This affected our budget for the rest of the trip. The part that upset us the most was the staff explanation, they never clearly explained why they over charged us, kept changing the version and it was until we really raised our voice that they tried to fix things.

Santa Monica Stay

Very nice hotel and staff were polite and happy to help with any questions. We were given late check out of 2pm and our bags stored for us till 9 at no charge, as we had a late flight from LAX.
