“Nice Spot, Good Location, Mostly Great”

Only really had a couple of issues with this spot - it appeared very nice and in general I would say the quality is solid. However, my shower set off the fire alarm twice, which is a deafening and ear-piercing sound. Too much steam? I don't know. Parking not included, if you want to park in the underground garage it's an additional $20+/ day. Plus, internet access is $10 per device per day, only available wirelessly - so you can't bring your own wireless router. Although ATT devices are free (iPhone and iPad were free.)

“Mediocre”

The hotel is fantastic looking from the outside and the lobby area and walkways are beautiful. The rooms are a bit dingy....they look old. The sofa sleeper was hard to pull out and I couldn't put it back in again. The reataurant had decent food but a bit over priced for what you get. It's better to eat at the local restaurants and they are close by. My nephew's car was broken into and some items were stolen and he was parked directly in front of the hotel under the lights. His SUV wouldn't fit into the parking garage because of the height. The hotel charges $23 for parking which I think is rediculous especially if you are a guest there but they do give you a free breakfast but it gets chaotic with the crowds of people coming in.

Area recommendations

The coastal area from El Segundo all the way down is pretty neat. Lots of shopping and eateries.

“Very Nice!”

Hotel was very beautiful inside and out, fountains, gardens, carp filled pools. Nice breakfast- omelettes nade to order. Clean, quiet rooms. I would definitely stay again.

After a long flight from Tokyo, we could take rest at comfortable room near airport. The room was clean and the complementary breakfast include ordered hot meal was great. I'll stay again this hotel next time I go to LAX.
