Great Hotel by LAX

Room was great! Clean, comfortable, and a great place to stay. Front Desk Staff in the AM could have been nicer. Don't rely on their wake up call. It was late...

Good Airport Hotel

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Stayed here on an overnight layover at LAX. The staff was super. Very pleasant and helpful. Shuttle to/from airport was frequent and convenient. Free WiFi worked well. Facilities were not fancy, but clean and serviceable. Overall a good value.

Excellent customer service, outdated hotel.

The hotel customer service is excellent! However, the hotel could use some serious updating! The sheets were very stiff and uncomfortabable! I was hoping for great quality sleep but the stiff sheets and hard mattress comfort was unattainable.

Completely underwelming

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Had made a reservation about a month in advance. The day I got there I was told that i could wait "a couple of hours" for a better room to open up after flying across the US for an interview or that I could just take what they had available which ended up being a very small room with a view of the walls at the end of the hallway. Honestly i have been at motels that have been nicer. I was expecting much more for Sheraton Four seasons.

Good location.

Being in LA we were expecting to relax and watch the Dodger game. Unfortunately the rooms do not get that channel? My husband had to go down to the bar to keep up with the score. Our bed cover was dirty and we asked to have it changed. There was only half of toilet paper in our restroom? Will not be going back.

Good hotel for good price

Posted Oct 7, 2014
good hotel for a good price if you want a higher end hotel near the airport. Room carpets were a little out dated but the bed and the rest were amazing.

Four Poins Sheraton LAX old requires some TLC

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: The friendly reception staff and the food and beverage manager were very helpful and friendly. The 24 hour free shuttle is also convenient
Cons: The rooms need refurbishment and the windows need replacing with double glazed glass. The restaurant staff and bar staff need to be replaced
Location: There is Puddys Liquor Store 5 mins walk with discounted liquor and snacks.
I stayed four nights at the Four Points Sheraton, the hotel reception staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. However the restaurant and bar staff are in need of a kick up the backside as they are lazy and certainly not worth a tip as their service or lack thereof is appalling. The hotel is handy to LAX with a 24 hour free shuttle which runs every 15 or 20 minutes The rooms are old and dated and require refurbishment. There is some noise from the outside roadway and airport and this is due to the very old windows which are not double glazed and which vibrate from the noise. The rooms are reasonably comfortable with clean sheets etc. a bar fridge and there is a liquor store 5 mins walk down the road where you can buy discounted liquor. Very disappointing is they provide cheap throw away plastic cups in the rooms for you to use for a drink. This is cheap and nasty. In all its comfortable and reasonably priced and is certainly convenient for a short stay.

Excellent stay

Posted Oct 4, 2014
Pros: Staff and proximity to central LA
Cons: Prefer the pool to be more private
Location: Shopping - Macy's , Beaches ,
Staff and facilities excellent. Spotless - great breakfasts and bar n grill top spot. Beds comfortable decent mattress The Front office staff helped me wit alterative avenues as I was travelling by myself - had great suggestions on where to go and see LA at its best and safely - marvellous ideas about travelling within LA on public transport -- which I used rather than large taxi costs to the Getty Museum, to the shopping close by. Taking an alternative - Tour bus - through to Farmers Market and surrounding beaches Santa Monica, Hollywood, Bel Air - which took me to a wide range of ideas which I appreciated enormously.
