Great valuePosted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: Location, Omelette bar
Location: Beach, shopping, cinema, easy access to highway
We stayed in Hyatt house as a party of 4 for about 10 days. We had a 2 bedroom unit with 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen. It was definitely better than we expected. The location was nice, it was close to highway, there were many shops and a cinema in walking distance, it was only a short drive to Manhattan Beach. We really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was included in price, although the selection seemed narrow, there was definitely something for everyone and all of the food they had tasted great. We really enjoyed the omelette bar.

25 minutes from everywhere you want to be in LAPosted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: The central court yard was wonderfully interactive for parties travelling together and for socializing
Cons: HOT TUB HOT TUB HOT TUB :)
Location: Best food, walking distance, outlets 1/2 mile, Metro to everywhere else in LA across the street and alas my beloved starbucks, ATMs...fantastic!
Exceptional staff, very hospitality oriented, very welcoming sense of community. Grounds were clean and cared for, loved the BBQ, courts, pool and fire pit, wonderful breakfasts and free vino and tap for 1.5 hours in the evening, really created a culture of relaxation...felt very safe with on site security, fantastic shops and beach within 5 mins, free shuttle if needed :)

Noisy and coldPosted Aug 24, 2014
There hotel is getting a bit dated and could do with a facelift but there main things that made my stay uncomfortable was the room temperature and the noise you experience from the neighbours. The room has air-conditioning, in LA it is hot and I was there during August so AC is a must. The problem with my room is that it was far too cold and you can't turn the AC off properly. I set the temperature to what I required and after some time it did settle at this temperature. The room has motion sensors so when you are out the lights and AC turn off, this is where the problem occurs, the AC doesn't turn off it just stops regulating the temperature and blows cold, therefore at night the room is freezing! Secondly the noise from the plumbing in the adjoining rooms is very loud, every time the toilet is flushed ora shower is taken it sounds like a Jet engine is taking off which meant that we where often woken early in the morning.

Great quite location with plenty of shopping and dining within walking distance. The rooms are clean and comfortable like a home away from home. This would be my third time staying here and will continue to come back

Good spacious room. Breakfast time not great.Posted Aug 9, 2014
Located in a what feels like a business district, the Hotel is functional, with spacious, but darkish rooms. There's a fresh and easy supermarket near and a few restaurants. I'd stay again, but I'd say the only negative is the small breakfast area that becomes overwhelmed at times.

In TransitionPosted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Location Pool / Tennis and Basketball court BBQ area for use Full Breakfast
Cons: Room carpet could be replaced and bathrooms upgraded Elevators or ramps No ice machines - had to go to the front desk for ice Dryers broken
Location: Manhattan Beach Queen Mary / Aquaruim of Pacific Six Flags Universal Studios Hollywood
Average hotel close to all major attractions - Six Flags, Beaches, Queen Mary, Aquarium of the Pacific, Angels Stadium, Disney, Universal Studios, Hollywood. Room was clean and comfortable - a little dated. The kitchen and bedrooms were good, bathrooms need some upgrading (faucets, tubs, tile) and the carpet needs updating too. Accommodated a family of 5 nicely (2 adults, 2 teens, child) Parking was free and the full breakfast is better than I've had at other hotels (they have an free omlette bar)

Vacation with familyPosted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: The hotel was near everything but yet felt tucked away enough so you didn't feel crowded.
Cons: Some aesthetic upgrades in the room so it was a bit more modern such as a different carpet and some work on the walls for cleaner lines.
Location: Manhattan Beach, Long Beach, Venice Beach....you name it, the South Bay is filled with beaches and fun. Had a wonderful time up and down the PCH!
Had a wedding in LA, we live on the east coast so getting a place that had multiple bedrooms was ideal. This was a perfect fit for my daughter and her husband, my single son and my husband and I. In need of some upgrades is evident but the hotel was clean, the staff were courteous and the price was right! Great place and I would stay there again.
