Great hotel for those on a budget with a car

Posted Jan 20, 2015
If you have a car and want a cost effective hotel this is for you. The hotel is by the freeway with views of it but you're not staying here for the view! Free valet parking and all staff were very friendly and helpful. Great inclusive buffet breakfast which sets you up for the day. We visited universal, Warner Brothers, the Hollywood sign and Magic mountain which were all a fairly short drive away (make sure you get Sat Nav). There is a free shuttle into Burbank where there are some nice restaurants. We also went to a Lakers game at the Staples Center which was easy as one of the staff introduced us to Uber - a private car service app but much cheaper and reliable than taxis (although you will need a smartphone) Overall a great chain hotel and would thoroughly recommend

Universal Studios Stay

Posted Jan 13, 2015
Pros: staff, clean rooms, parking
Cons: Breakfast! The area is too small and becomes congested. Food was hard and tasteless, not good.
The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful; front desk & valet! If you are a Hilton Honors member parking is free. It is about a 15 minute drive to Universal Studios. It is located in a nice area close to shops and restaurants.

Bem mais que o esperado

Embora não seja barato, o hotel superou as expectativas. Ofereceu serviços além dos descritos no contrato e conta com uma equipe atenciosa e amigável.

Hampton Inn - Burbank

Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: Pretty much everything.
Cons: The entrance where you pull into to check-in is very small. Not much they can do about it however.
Location: Close to Burbank for dining and shopping, good freeway access.
This was an excellent hotel. It was clean and modern, the staff was professional, friendly and very helpful. They provide a shuttle to downtown Burbank for dining if you don't want to drive. There was a decent restaurant about a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The breakfast provided was quite good - actually the best I've had that was restaurant provided - the scrambled eggs were actually edible. The room was very comfortable even though my room was next to the freeway, I was not bothered at all by any noise. I would recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again.

Vacation visit to Burbank

Posted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: Hotel staff was superior. Rooms were clean. Breakfast choices were plentiful.
Location: The location was near Warner Brothers and as we were attending a taping of the Ellen show, it was super convenient. They even have a shuttle.
We stayed for three nights and we loved it. I would highly recommend to anyone that is visiting the Burbank area. It is clean, super breakfast, and the staff is very friendly. There is a pool and hot tub as well as laundry available. It has everything you need.

Unwelcoming Staff

Posted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff needs a lesson in hospitality, of it not that….then at least manners. Also, if you do stay here ask for a room away from the ice machine
I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and generally have been pleased; but this time things were different. When I first tried to check in, there was only one attendant at the desk who was having a very hard time with a customer and after 20 minutes, when I tried to ask if there was someone else who could help or if I should come back later I was told "Look, I can only do one thing at a time!"….So, that was that. I left and returned 4 hours later and checked in with someone else. When I told them about my earlier experience I was met with a smirk and was told only "Here is your key"….Hmmm….what has happened to this otherwise excellent hotel? I will not be returning anytime soon.

Perfect for a visit to Universal Studios

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Stayed here for the weekend w/ the kids at Universal Studios. Perfect location right off I-5, and almost a straight shot on surface streets to Universal. Breakfast was good and the price was right. Will definately stay there again.
