The property is a bit run down we liked the free breakfast and just minutes from the beach . The first room we got was next to the laundry room which is the worst room ever especially when the maid starts spinning sheets , worse nose ever especially being in a room so close to it but we did end up changing rooms for a bigger room ! Hotel is pet friendly which is great to bring our dog !

Great location and staff but the property is old. The carpets look like they need a very good shampooing and the hotel smells like cigarette smoke. The room was clean and comfortable. The service good!

The hotel is fairly clean and in a good condition. The room was of a weird shape - long and narrow. The hallway is a maze. Parking spots are narrow. Part of the parking in under the building and there is high chance of scratching your car because of support pillars. There was an issue with hot water. When I showered after 11pm - the water was warm but not how. Took ~10 min to get hotter water Breakfast is ok. First day they served bacon that was ok, second day - sausages which were berely edible. The hotel is located right on PCH, but with windows closed the noise was minimal. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, ~15 min walk to Hermosa beach Overal an ok stay

Great spot, not a great room
I love the hotel, breakfast, staff and location. But I think we got the worst room in the hotel! Right next to the laundry area, and our balcony was under a stairwell ON the street.

Not clean but great location
Great location but room was not clean. There was dirt and hair on the floor and the bathroom was not clean. In the middle of the night we were awoken to conversations people were having in other rooms - we think they were maybe sitting outside on their balcony.

Convenient location and great for pets.
Hotel is located walking distance from Hermosa pier so it’s convenient to shops and restaurants. The rooms was very clean along with the lobby/dining area for breakfast. I would recommend that the hotel replace their hallway carpets or maybe a deep cleaning. They look filthy.

Pros: 20 min walk to the beach, nice breakfast Cons: dirty dirty dirty. Looks like they don’t mop the floors. I don’t even mention stained balcony floor which is disgusting. Dirty toilet and sink. On top of that, the hotel was next to a busy street, we didn’t get a good sleep at all. Would not stay there again.

Good choice!
Went to a Taylor swift concert and booked this a few months prior. The hotel was better pretty decent. I’d stay again… it is remodeled in ten rooms with wood flooring,m which felt much cleaner than the carpet in the hallways. Rooms have room darkening shades so that was nice good The patio was an added bonus. It’s roomy, the room stayed cool all night, and my only complaint was the parking. If you get in late you may only be left with one spot to use and hopefully there is room to get in. It is tight! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. It is hard to see from the road where it’s at, my daughter and myself both ended up passing it and had to do a YouTurn and come back but it was not a big deal. I’d recommend to stay here if you’re looking in in the area! Our concert was at Sofi and took about 25-30 mins to get there in traffic.

The only negative was the carpet in the hallways was filthy and there was only 1 elevator for the entire complex and we were hallways away from it on floor 4. It was like walking through a maze to get to it.
