“Very nice hotel for short stay in Northern LA area”

Our family (2 adults, 1 child - 12 y.o.) stayed there for 2 nights for a short X-mas vacation. We drove down from the Bay area (about 5 hours) and visited Disneyland (40 min from the hotel by car) and Universal Studious (10 min). We were very satisfied and would stay their again. Pleasant points: - clean hotel & rooms - nice and frindly - free parking - complimentary breakfast which was actually quite good - we requested a room facing the backyard and it was pretty quite there.

“Great Staff”

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast had excellent variety. Overnight parking is challenging. We would definitely stay here again.

“Bait and switch”

I paid for an upgraded room through Expedia , when we checked in they didn't have our studio suite. They were sold out and said they only guarantee the room not the type. We expected to have a fridge and they had none for the first night of stay. Expedia made it right by crediting me that first night but the manager was unwilling to credit anything. Be careful when upgrading your room u might not get it.

“On my short list!”

Really appreciated the "Breakfast to go" bags, especially the day of the Parade! Also appreciated having someone in the parking lot to direct us to open spots.

“Great place, friendly staff”

Had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Close and easy access to the 405 freeway and parking was convenient. I would recommend this hotel.

“great - both for business and for family travel”

excellent team. responsive and friendly. large, clean and comfortable rooms. great breakfast. great to have free wifi. Great location on the 405 exit. Denny's, Target next door. a bit noisy on the side facing the 405. try to get a room that faces the back yard.

“One good option in "The Valley"”

I was very happy with our experience here. Located on a major artery and near a busy freeway, the street noise was nevertheless negligible. Bed was comfy, shower good, and the buffet breakfast very tasty. There is a Target across the street and a Denny's down the block so basic necessities were steps away. Oh and plenty of free parking! Cost was affordable and compared favorably with the Best Western across the street where we have stayed in the past.

“Just what we needed”

My friend flew down from Seattle and we went to a concert together (Jeff Beck). This is a rarity as we are not rich. We had a great time, although he had an appendicitis attack the next morning and we spent the day at the hospital. They removed it and he was back at the hotel that night (insurance calling the shots, you know). Anyway, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff efficient enough and the food good, although get down there early if you want to have the eggs for breakfast. Parking was tough and the neighbhorhood dicey, but if you are driving in and out, there is no problem. The pool and exercise room were nice, as were the common areas.
