When we checked into our room there was a horrible smell (sewage). We asked to be moved.they wuicymoved us to a room on a different floor, but when we went to take our showers there was no hot water. I let the front desk know, and they explained that three floors were without hot water. They did not contact us to learn us, and they did not truths. The desk clerk credited my Hilton Honorsaccount with only 15,000 pts. Not sure if I would use these points to book at s as mother Hilton.

I usually stay at the Hilton when I have an overnight layover. The shuttle makes it very convenient to get to the hotel from LAX. The hotel is always clean, rooms and beds very cozy and comfy. The staff is also very helpful and friendly.

We checked in and we’re given our room. We went to the room and the lock was one of those ones you had to tap, but our room key wouldn’t tap and the lock didn’t indicate it was being registered at all. So we went back downstairs and they gave us new key, and a lecture on how to use the key, and sent us back up. They also sent Security up to “help“ us. When Security showed up they realized that the room we had didn’t have the type of lock that you slide the key in, and in fact, wasn’t even open for use. So we got moved down the hall to room 1230. Well the room keys in that one wouldn’t work apparently because the battery pack was dying for the key slot pack. So we went out for dinner on the promise that engineering would come up and fix it. We got back to the room. It wasn’t fixed. Same problem. So back down to the front desk for new keys. And when I finally got a green light activated on the second set of keys, the door wouldn’t open easily as it was stuck.

The rooms in this hotel need updating. Our first room smelled of sewer gas. We cannot have been the first people to notice it. The staff was great, and moved us, and the hotel is in a very convenient location with great transportation, but I would prefer a more updated place.

This hotel is Hilton in name only -- or at least the room I stayed in. There was mold growing in the bathroom. The carpet had nasty stains on it and needed to be replaced. The common areas are well maintained. But it's clearly a dated and aging hotel that benefits from its location -- and its name.

It was great for the furry convention. Lots of great panel rooms with decent a/v equipment. The rooms were all cold. Not sure if this was done on purpose for the fursuiters but those of us without one were mostly freezing. The staff was great and attentive. The one thing that i have to say negative, and that is just unconscionable on the hotel's part is, the prices in their Bistro were completely over inflated. How dare you sell a bag of Boom chika popcorn or a 20 ounce soda for almost 8 dollars each? I was forced to walk to the grocery just to avoid spending anymore of my money there.14 dollars for a glass of draft beer. Absolutely ridiculous prices.

The shower in my room did not work. I reported it to front desk upon checkout. The door would unlock but I has to slam it open every time I entered the room The metal lock was broken. Also reported to front desk. Hotel Lobby and restaurant area was beautiful. My hotel room itself was like staying at Motel 6. Reported to front desk.

The Hilton Los Angeles Airport was a nice getaway for my son and his girlfriend. He said the hotel and rooms were nice, and they were able to use the transportation services to go to the beaches.
