This is not a Hilton quality hotel

This is definitely not a Hilton quality hotel. The staff upon check in did not smile, did not ask me anything remotely polite or warming. It was a cold and off putting experience from the start. The parking is $19 a night, and not even worth that price. It's nothing special, but they can get away with it, so they do it. The rooms were lacking. Dark, yellow, and gloomy. The beds are much smaller than full size beds, wether they want to admit that or not. There are no refrigerators or microwaves in the room, and although other reviews said they requested them and never got them, we just never even bothered requesting. As for cleanliness, the room needs new carpet, new paint, and at least new a new shower curtain. The carpet is thread bare and old. The walls make the room look sad, dark and depressing, and the shower curtain looked like it had mold growing on the bottom corner of if. Overall, I will not be staying in this hotel again, although the location is nice, the quality is not up to standards and there are thousands of other options that will make you actually feel at home...pick on of those instead.

Nursing student needing time to relax

I am a nursing student, working at a hospital from 3:00 to 11:30pm. Wanting to just rest and relax. I love the hotel except that we needed a two bed and there was only a room with one queen bed. No accommodations made for us. Hard to share a bed when you are expecting a two bed room. Other than that an excellent hotel, location. And too bad that we have to pay 20.00 extra per day for Parking.

Nice, but

Pros: Convenient location.
Cons: STAFF!! Room needs some work.
Awakened at 12:30 by screaming and slamming door. Yelling kept up so called front desk. Didn't answer. Called again, put on hold. Called again, said would send security. Police arrived and a total of 2 hours was spend with conversations going on right outside our door. The hotel is not responsible for this but the girl at the front desk was very rude when I talked to her about the problem. I did not want a free night but did ask for compensation of some sort. Offered to take off 1 movie which was insulting. Asked to have parking removed and she made a face and begrudgingly agreed. Said it was done and that was it. Asked for a receipt and she grimaced, handed me one without a work and sent about her work. This person should not be at Hilton, period. The man behind the counter was pleasant, but the night phone staff was not pleasant. I would not return to this particular Hilton again.

Not Hilton Quality

Room smelled terrible, no mini bar, rooftop bar closed 2 hours earlier than advertised because the staff wanted to go home early, not Hilton quality. Really felt like a holiday inn.

Staff is unaccomodating

If you desire a hotel where you do not need anything from the front desk, housekeeping and etc, this hotel is the place for you. I tried requesting a mini fridge and no follow up or anything. They did not have ANY extra towels and when I asked for some silverware or some sort of utensils for my food, no one came to deliver any of my requests. Perhaps there was no communication from the front desk to housekeeping and etc but at the end of the day, the guest staying should almost feel like they are at home. I did not feel like this when I stayed at the Hilton Glendale. Sadly to say, I, along with all the other guests that stayed in this hotel, will never choose this hotel again. What a disappointment!

Well the beds are a bit smaller than other hotel chains I've been too. If they could make them a little bigger that would be great.

Our executive king room was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was great. The location was perfect for us since we were visiting our son in Glendale.
