Friendly staff

Overall, this was a good stay. It's the second time at this hotel and both times was good. Upon arrival, we didn't have any soap or shampoo in our room. When I let the front desk know, they sent up housekeeping. She supplied us with more towels, several soaps and shampoos and lotion. Very nice lady.

EXCELLENT STAY
Posted Jan 5, 2013
Pros: everything
Cons: coffee is not the best to start the day. Brand is awful
Location: Excellent very accessible all the way around (restaurant, shopping and freeway access).
Location is excellent, hotel staff are friendly. Parking shoudl not be as expensive although we park in a friends house which we are lucky that they are close by. How come that there is no complimentary brakfast like Embassy Suites, which is owned by the same corporation. We are lucky that there are convenient restaurant in the are. Otherwise I am happy with our stay. Parking for hotel guest should at least be discounted.

Good hotel but lot of additional fees
Posted Jan 29, 2013
Pros: good room, complimentary wifi, dinner restaurant inside hotel open late & at reasonable proce
Cons: Parking charges, no complimentary breakfast
Location: downtown glenadale
Costs are high, but overall accommodation, room upkeep is good, free wifi, tv, coffee, etc. lots of additional costs included - parking is an addtnl payment per day; breakfast is pretty expensive - these 2 charges incur a sizable bills to your room by the end of stay

Good central hotel for LA
Posted Jan 23, 2013
Pros: rooftop bar
Cons: rooftop bar closed on sundays
Location: central and easy to get to
We had a great time at this hotel. Clean, comfortable, and centrally located to all we wanted to do in LA (it's just a block from the 134). We were in town for our kid's graduation, and so didn't spend alot of time in the room. Our biggest beef was that the wonderful rooftop bar--which we really enjoyed-- was closed on Sunday, and sunday was graduation and all we wanted after the very loooong day was to sit outside, sip something, and enjoy the views. But no: the bar, the outside area (and most of the restaurants) are closed on Sunday. You can't even go up there. (And this was not noted anywhere on their site when I booked.) And there is no other outside areas to have a drink or something to eat. This closure just doesn't make sense. Hotels are supposed to be 24-7 kinds of places. Other reviewers have noted that the doors seem to slam shut -- and it's true they do, and that this woke us up a bit. But other than that, the rooms were quiet and the beds super comfortable. I don't like that they charge for internet and parking, but with a "third night free" this still pencilled out as a deal for us, as we stayed three nights in May. The pool and hot tub are great. They also could do a better job clearing the stuff that falls from the trees onto the outside sidewalks, but other than that, a nice, comfortable hotel at a great price.

Nice hotel unexpected charge for parking

The Hotel was nice. When you visit the LA area you have to have a car. Parking was $20 a day too much.
