Hotel very close to universalPosted Feb 27, 2015
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The room was too small for us and we talked to the staff they were not able to help us. They only had one Resturant and the hostess was very rude. If you are going to universal this is a nice hotel but that's about it.

Good experience...pricey water. Next time I'll have to bring my own bottles of H2O.

hotel close to theme parkPosted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: the location
Cons: the facilities of room
Location: theme park, free shuttle to Bevery shopping Center
Hotel staff told me that this hotel was built up in 1984, so it's pretty old hotel. they maintain the hotel pretty good. but the interior design for the bathroom are not handy, it make me feel that walking around the whole bathroom every time I do wash or make up.

Easy Access to the ParksPosted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Really great buffet dinners and breakfasts, great variety and friendly staff.
Cons: Expensive parking.
Location: Really close to the Universal theme park, and close enough to do tours of the Hollywood sites.
We selected this hotel due to its location near the Universal Park, and this is ideal, 15 minute walk away.

Room was abit outdated considering its in the middle of the city, did not have that modern feel inside. Hated that they charge you for parking $28/day even when you are staying, but hey its LA. Would still recommend, good staff, free shuttle to universal. I got the room with the free breakfast. Round the 21st floor. They need an express lift or something, it take forever with all elevators serving all floors. The breakfast buffet, I will not recommend. Go to city walk with the free shuttle or walk for about 10mins or less for better option.

Close to Universal StudiosPosted Feb 16, 2015
Cons: Update the carpets and bathrooms.
Location: Excellent location to Universal Studios and Hollywood.
I took my family to Universal Studios for my daughter's 16th birthday. This hotel was right across the street. It's a five minute walk. I thought the hotel was nice, but dated. Everyone was friendly. I thought the prices for meals were a little outrageous ($23/plate for breakfast buffet and $56/plate for dinner buffet), so we found a few less expensive restaurants around the corner and down the street. All was well.
