Great if you're looking to conserve dollars.

Pros: Location, price, cleanliness
Cons: Area is a bit noisy
Location: not the best part of hollywood but centrally located.
I was surprised by the hotel. For the price it was in great condition, very clean and the staff was very helpful despite some reviews to the contrary. True it's not in the best are of hollywood but it is very centrally located and for some reason this block of hollywood has always been a bit sketchy. But the hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. parking is limited but there is ample street parking. It is a two story hotel/motel type so if good night sleep is absolutely mandatory you must stay on the upper level. The guest above me were up very late.

Won't stay there again
Posted Jan 18, 2012
Location: On busy street
The time we entered room had strong smell of chemicals that didn't come out even after 2 days. Refrigerator didn't work and personnel was not able to fix it, just keep telling it is brand new and should work. The bathroom had no hangers/hooks, water in toilet was running all the time.

Very friendly staff, neat and tidy motel!

We were there for 2 nights. The staff were very helpful in providing guidance, and giving us ideas on what to do. There are a couple of tiny balcony spots on the second floor which are great for an evening smoke :)

additional charges for 10 yr old child?
Posted Jan 24, 2012
Pros: good location near hollywood
I reversed room through expedia, and my family has 2 kids, 10 and 12 years old. When I reserve, nobody told me kids over 10 will be counted as adult and charge $10 each. and I never met another hotel charges me that. This is the only one. The breakfast it provides is so little. every time the donut box is empty. and at 8:40am, i was told no more breakfast.

Cheap, clean and convenient, that's it
Posted Jan 10, 2012
Pros: Location
Cons: Front Desk Clerk
Location: Great location just a few blocks off Sunset, close to Arclight Cinemas
This hotel works because it is cheap and in a good location if you are going out on Sunset or to the Arclight. The front desk clerk was rude and and did not care much about your experience. At one point when I was asking if the vending machine needed change he said that he did not know how to use it. I eventually found the machine and ascertained this on my own. Again, cheap, clean, and centrally located so can't lose in a pinch if t is just s clean place to stay for the night to avoid driving home after going out!

"Good, decent hotel near the hub of Hollywood"
Posted Jan 10, 2012
Considering that days before, I was staying at a five-star hotel in D.C., it's kinda hard to rate this place subjectively but here goes: It's definitely a plus as it's very convenient to the hub of Hollywood--within walking distance of Metro stations, the Hollywood & Highland complex, restaurants, Arclight Cinemas, clubs, etc. The hotel itself is okay, as it can definitely use a bit of a facelift since there are only less than 30 rooms to the property. It's also close to a 7-11, so getting your morning coffee is a breeze. There's a CVS a half-block away, along with a Subway and a great little market across the street. Overall, this is a decent motel stay is one wishes to be close to all the action in the Hollywood area.

Worth staying at!
Posted Jan 8, 2012
The general description indicates a continental breakfast, although the hotel clarifies this in their description: it is donuts and coffee, so don't book expecting more. There was a good variety of donuts, though! Rooms were clean, bed comfortable, lot of hot water. Definitely one of the best budget places we've stayed at, and the proximity to Hollywood Boulevard and Universal Studios is great. One and only suggestion: more of the larger towels. We'd stay here again! :)

Great for a basic hotel, comfy and clean
Posted Jan 27, 2012
Overall it was a nice stay. You get the basics, what you pay for. Don't expect a 5 star hotel with a minibar and room service, and you will be more than satisfied.
