“Clean, quiet, and comfortable”

The staff went out of their way to give our family rooms together. The beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows and fresh-smelling sheets. Breakfast was only missing fresh fruit which we brought with us. The little refrigerator and microwave made snacking or lunching on our little balcony a pleasant possibility.

“wonderful place”

The only drawback was the very slow elevator and no stairways that you could use without setting off the fire alarm. Otherwise it was a large room (double queen) in great shape. The breakfast was far above average.

“Ramada was a gem!”

We were very concerned...as we approached the area of the hotel, it is not a terribly nice/safe-looking area--bars on windows, etc. But we were very pleasantly surprised...The Ramada was wonderful!!! It was clean and elegant in the lobby. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable and assist us with things like the computer in the lobby for printing our boarding passes. The floors were beautiful and the rooms were especially pretty...nice wood furniture and lovely beds and bedding. Our sink was clogged, but no big deal. The rooms were very clean, too, which is a huge factor for me. Nice pool...8 feet deep...so many are only 3-5 feet deep any more, pretty courtyard area and fountain at back by parking lot. You did have to pay to use the gated parking lot. The free breakfast included was wonderful. Had eggs, waffles, grapefruits, and special pastries, in addition to all of the regular items in a continental breakfast and was in a very nice restaurant-like area, rather than just a small area with a few little tables, like some hotels offer. Overall, this was one of our favorite hotels on our trip. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this area. It was very close to Universal Studios and not far from many other attractions in the Hollywood area.

“Perfect Tourist Hotel”

Near everything i wanted to do. Walk of fame, Venice beach, Jim morrisons apartment, whiskey a go go. I have never ridden a subway or bus before, but it was easier than i thought it was gunna be. Its very simple for people to travel near the area. And very cheap. Everyone was nice. The neighborhood can be very shady and intimidating, especially at night. But just keep your head on high and dont be all touristy like. The people might look scary, but actually, they were kinda cool in a weird way. haha. Definetly would stay here again. Plus, there is an old school 50's diner two blocks away that has 43 different milkshakes!!! I would come back just for the milkshakes. AMAZING!!

“Really a great value”

The room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. It had 2 microwaves, and little fridge. Everything I could want was in that room but best of all was the comfort of the bed! It was convenient to have a buffet breakfast in such an expensive town. I would highly recommend the hotel.

“Great place to stay in LA”

Great place for the money. Conveniently located within easy driving to many LA sites. Room very nice. Free breakfast was more than just a donut.

“Very Good Hotel for a Good Price”

The hotel was clean and nice. The elevators are a bit slow but manageable. The room was big. The bathroom was also spacious but the actual shower was oddly designed and too narrow. The hotel is in a great location and center to numerous attractions, e.g., 10-20 minutes drive to downtown LA, Hollywood, and Venice Beach. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

“good hotel, will stay again if we go back”

Well everything from check in to check out was fine. we didnt stay in the room too much, they clean our room everyday and ddid good job. I think overall the hotel is great, the breakfast was good and hotel was close to everything that we wanted to do and go. I dont think you should believe the bad reviews until you try out for yourself. It all depends on your experience of you stay so you be the judge for yourself, so dont believe others!

“Great to visit Hollywood”

The hotel was located close to tourist sites like Hollywood Blvd and the Griffith Observatory. The secure parking was a nice plus. The buffet breakfast was excellent. There was lots of food and good variety. Staff was present to help with any problems.
