Good Hotel Overall

Posted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: Rooms were exactly what was advertised
Cons: Toilet seats were not able to stay up, had to hold it making it hard to go to the bathroom for a male
Location: When to Create Club around the corner
For the Hollywood area this hotel suited everything I needed for a one night stay to go bar hopping

Weekend gateway

Posted Apr 22, 2014
Pros: Nothing at all
Cons: Everything
Location: Location is good
When we get to our room, there is no hot water, they have to move us to different room and I didn't know it's a smoking area. Dirty carpet, smelly room.

Dirty, filthy, bad customer service

Worst experience i have ever had in a hotel. They want an extra deposit to be paid in cash only. They charged us more for there own taxes

extorted by hotel clerk

Posted Apr 1, 2013
Pros: nothing
Cons: lying clerk, unclean and smelly room
Location: hoolywood ca
When I arrived I noticed I didnt have the same credit card on hand, so the very rude clerk told me my reservation was not vaild. He stated the only room he had left is a room that was very much more expensive. I asked to see a manager, he said arrogantly he was the manager and owner. He stated that there were other hotels in the area. It was 5:30 on a saturday night in hollywood ca, the chances of another room being vacant were slim, he knew this. He stated I can have the room for a certain price as long as I pay cash. I used my other credit card and gave him the cash. The room was awful, it smelled like cigarettes. I later learned that I paid about twice what it goes for on weekdays.

Monkeys Diaper of Hollywood

Posted Aug 14, 2012
Arrived at midnight and front desk was locked out with knowbody behind it. After 20mins of ringing the bell and calling the hotel number long distance, we eventually got the key to our dirty room. (We found french fries at the edge of the bed that we did not eat). Holes in the wall.... they didnt clean the room one day of our 4 night stay. The only positive is that it is centrally located... I would not stay here with my girlfriend but it was affordable for me and two buddies and we 'toughed out' the gross factor. Decent motel for group of guys looking to drink it up on hollywood and sunset area.

THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY

Posted Aug 12, 2012
Pros: Location to city tour bus.
Cons: Hot room
Location: Not the best
THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY. The GOOD: The owner's wife very nice. The BAD: We booked for two days-the room was oven hot when we walked in-took half the night to cool down-inadequate A/C-then staff turned off the A/C next am after we left so when we returned that pm hot as hell again! Later learned a reviewer had the same experience. Parking inadequate-more rooms than spots. Hole in wall with exposed wires. The UGLY: Splatters on wall and bathrm door gross-peeling ceiling in bathrm. Bedspread was nasty. Some of the guests as seedy as the neighborhood. You can do better with advance planning.
