Awesome experience. Very helpful lobby staff.Sutter service is great within 3 miles. No need to use car once you park till stay.

Not worth your money.

Pros: The small gym and pool
Cons: The whole place needs an upgrade as far as customer service goes.
Location: close to studios
Let me begin by telling you how upset I was with this hotel from the check in. I arrived early to LA and called ahead to see if we could check in, Eric answered the phone and said no problem about early check in, but when I arrived he said sorry check in is at 3pm and HE DIDNT EVEN APOLOGIZE. He had an attitude and didn't even offer to hold our luggage for us, the valet guy came in and said we could leave our luggage with them. I was so disappointed. I had called the night before and someone said it wouldn't be a problem so thats why we were so happy to have a room so early. DISAPPOINTING. The room. It smelled like cigarettes and sweat. The bathroom was not clean, the water pressure sucks and the room keeper never refilled the soap and so we had to use what little was left from the shampoo dispenser for soap in the shower. There's no self parking, even though is says that on Expedia. There's only valet and street parking, of which part of the street you can't park on because of construction. I won't ever stay here again, and don't recommend you to either.

Warm & welcoming hotel

Pros: The room amenities and service.
Cons: The room should have had two chairs for two people instead of one.
Location: The location was perfect. It was close to all the tourist attractions.
This is a very nice hotel with very comfortable amenities. The in room facilities made our stay very homely e.g the presence of a microwave, kettle and small kitchenette was amazing. The room was bright with large windows and the bed very comfortable. Staff are not in your face but are very friendly and helpful when needed. The quaint bar and restaurant area makes the hotel feel very homely with comfortable sofa's and low lighting. The close proximity of shops opposite the hotel was also handy for things that might have been forgotten or if a traditional American breakfast is on the menu.

Good quiet location

Excellent hotel, the only option is valet parking, which is like $35. It is kind of pricey. Other option you have is you can park on the street which is half a block away. Comfy bed and shower. They also brought up a free bottle of champagne which was nice.

Almost great, but not quite.

Pros: The staff was very friendly, our first room (242) was really nice! very nice walk in shower, looked clean and new.
Cons: Our second room (109) needs help. As mentioned - please fix the noise problem and we would love to come back!
I wanted to love this hotel- there are a lot of redeeming qualities- but long story short they severely need to secure & insulate the doors. We were moved from one room to another because of a loose banging door - every time someone would walk by the door would vibrate and bang. Our new room (on the first floor) was subpar in every way to our first (besides the banging) but we soon found out during the night we could hear EVERYTHING in the hall way- there are huge gaps around and underneath the doors allowing any and every noise into the room- and trust me there is a lot of traffic. We might as well have slept in the hallway it would have been the same noise level. Oh and the plumbing may need some work- the toilet barely flushed (I only peed and it would barely go down!) and later clogged when my husband used it.

Hotel was horrible, valet is $38.00 a night the shuttle only seated 4 I have a family of 5, the tub didn't drain, the sink didn't drain, there was mold on the roof of the shower, the light didn't work. I mentioned it to the staff they didn't seem to care.

The new owners have done a nice job of keeping the place clean & up to date. All the staff was very friendly to us. The room was nice but next the time I stay here I would make sure our room door not a an adjoining door to the room next door. Every morning we heard the people next door & I am sure they could hear us. Up on the 3rd floor in the ice machine room the out side door is left open to help keep the room cool, I would hope at some point this safety issue will be corrected. I personally think the $34.00 parking a night charge plus the CA 12% tax for your vehicle was a little high. I do not spend this much for car stay in New Orleans, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, etc... For taking a chance on the Hotel Amarano, we were glad we pick this hotel over the big chain hotels.

Classy Hotel in a great location

Pros: The beautiful and comfortable room
Cons: Pricing? As a 4 star hotel, the prices match what you get. :)
Location: Very close to Warner Bros. Studios and there's a Menchies close by for late night froyo
The staff was great at accommodating my late arrival far beyond the end of their checkin hours due to car rental line ups. Staff was helpful and friendly and the room was beautiful and clean. A great location in Burbank!

Hampton Inn quality for Ritz prices

Pros: Convient location to a lot of the Burbank, Van Nuys area.
Cons: House keeping, staff customer service.
For the price and service, I would recommend staying someplace else. When I arrived for checkin the front desk person was on a personal phone call, evident by the conversation, it took him several minutes before checking me in. The room had a few cosmetic problems, 1. Mold or mildew around a shelf in the tub/shower area, 2. An access panel above the tub was in need of some repairs, 3. A knob for the bed light was missing, 4. The shower gel pump dispenser did not pop back up, had to be pulled up, to dispense the shower gel, and 5. The T.V. remote didn't work. Housekeeping appeared hurried or non carrying about details. The sconces in the bathroom had a layer of dust on them and the floor did not appear to have been vacuumed.
