Nice hotel close to good restaurantsPosted Oct 21, 2014
Love that Portos Bakery is not too far away, and Bea Bea's restaurant is right across the street...excellent breakfast! Didn't have to pay for parking. Parked out in the street a block down. The 2 hour parking limit didn't apply because it was a weekend. Worked out perfectly. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is top notch...felt very cozy.

Looks much nicer in photos. A bit dated and not worth the price.

Great stay!Posted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: Location and cleanliness
Hotel Amarano was in a great location for us, easy to get to other spots in LA while there. The hotel is updated, clean, and the staff friendly. Nice location with some good local restaurants and convenient shopping nearby. I would definitely recommend to others.

Close to warner brothers and universalPosted Oct 7, 2014
We had a great stay at this hotel, it is close to the warner brothers studio tour 4 min drive and about 10 min drive to universal. They do charge about 33$ per night for parking, there is a side street where you can park as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, but not much of a view.

Nice room with poor cell phone receptionPosted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: Small and cozy
Cons: $33 to park is ridiculous,
Location: Across the street is a strip mall with a grocery, Starbucks and several places to eat.
My first-floor room (108) was partially underground and so it was difficult to make and receive calls on my iPhone. Cotter wise the room was fine.

Sweet little gem, close to where we wanted to bePosted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: Pretty much everything
Cons: Computers in the business center were down, and the printer, but the front desk staff happily took care of printing our boarding passes. Bath lighting
We arrived early, so, very friendly staff held our bags for us. Then when we actually checked in, we were upgraded to a suite without even asking to be. Everyone one from the valet to the bartenders and servers were very kind and helpful. The hotel is very stylish yet cozy, with a nice restaurant / bar, and our room was fantastic. Going back again in December!
