Everything went from check in to check out room was comfortable and large

My sister and I came to the LA--Santa Monica area to attend two High School Graduations. We stayed mostly with family during the day light hours and used the hotel largely for sleeping. The room space was small and largely taken up by two regularly-sized beds, which were comfortable. There was a closet-dresser combination and one desk chair. The room would have been more comfortable if there was space for two easy chairs to use for sitting and reading/watching TV. There was no place for our open traveling bags. The restaurant was well laid out with great views and good food and service. Parking and access to the 405, Sunset Blvd, and the LAX, UCLA, and Santa Monica was outstanding.

Our room faced away from 405, so we had no trouble with sound. Attractive hotel with good design, attentive staff. Coffee place in lobby is great for a quick coffee/muffin before going out.

Great location. If you don't like traffic noise, don't stay here. That is the only drawback to this hotel. My husband and I use earplugs, so we were fine. The staff are pleasant and helpful, and we enjoyed our stay here!

The hotel is easy to find and access the 405 and other major roads like Sunset, Wilshire, Santa Monica, etc. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. Check in was easy and the staff allowed my kids to pick out of a treasure chest which they thought was very fun. The rooms are very nice, although the bathrooms are quite small. It's an old hotel that has been very nicely remodeled but little things like that remain a challenge. There are only 2 elevators so the wait time is also a little long there as well.

Lovely hotel in super convenient location, nice amenities and happy hour and complimentary wine!

It's a OK hotel for the price. Easy access to freeway. Just be aware that the room is small.

I enjoy the architecture of the building and the location is great. The staff is sub-par... they haven't quite been trained to just smile and get whatever it is the guest needs. They don't quite get that part of hospitality. It took a few rings to reach the front desk at one point and once reached it was as if I was costing them time. I requested a room with a bathtub and, as a slim 5'10 guy, I was far too big for the tub. The room was tiny too and there was an insufficient amount of amenities. The hotel wasn't bad, but it was underwhelming... I won't be returning.

3rd time I have stayed there this month. Very friendly staff, starting to know me which is nice. Plan to stay there again. Only complaint is there is no self parking. All visitors have to pay a hefty valet charge.
