Pros: Decor
Location: Central but noisy if you have a street facing room
No elevator. Rooms really tiny. We wanted to eat at the restaurant on Mother's Day for lunch and were told by the front desk that it was closed when it was , in fact, open!

Lovely boutique hotel

Posted May 11, 2015
Pros: Breakfast with home made croissants and strong coffee. Quiet and peaceful.
All the staff, particularly front desk, were great and helpful. Loved the atmosphere for the place. Free breakfasts were more than nice. They cleaned the place all day long.

Dated boutique hotel in good location

Posted May 3, 2015
Pros: Staff on the front desk were pleasant and helpful.
Cons: The rooms could do with refurbishing and maybe double-glazing to reduce the noise.
Location: Hotel is within walking distance of the Beverly Centre/Beverly Connection and Rodeo Drive, and handy to bus stops for other attractions.
We stayed here on our way to Europe and, surprisingly, this was the smallest room we stayed in during our entire trip. (Our expectation was that American hotel rooms are typically larger than European ones.) We were in a quad room on the Santa Monica Blvd side of the hotel and the first night we had very little sleep due to all the emergency services vehicles driving past with sirens blaring during the night. The 2nd night was much quieter though. The decor of the hotel is quite dated. The enclosed courtyard area next to the restaurant where breakfast is served offers a pleasant outdoor option for eating breakfast. Breakfast was simple continental style with fresh fruit, cereals, canned fruit, toast and spreads, muffins and pastries, juice, tea and coffee. Staff on the front desk were pleasant and helpful.

Pleasant stay

Posted Apr 30, 2015
Pros: Onsite Italian restaurant, continental breakfast served each morning, cookies in reception :-)
Cons: variety for breakfast
Location: Only about 15 minutes by car to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the TCL Chinese Theatre
Room was small but comfortable, as was the bathroom. Staff were always very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. There is no elevator, which wasn't a problem for us, but some people may need to keep this in mind.

Very chic boutique hotel. The rooms are small but well designed. Loved the breakfast and the stylish inner courtyard. Good value in a convenient location.

The outside is deceiving.

Posted Apr 18, 2015
The hotel has a vintage feel. The outside looks very plain and understated. The lobby was clean and the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room and bath room were on the small side but clean. There is a very nice patio outside to enjoy food/drink or company. there is an Italian restaurant. You can eat inside or in the patio.

Pros:

Posted Mar 3, 2015

Loved it!

Posted Mar 1, 2015
Pros: All the above!
Cons: Pull out couch could have been more level and more comfortable.
Location: We were able to see all the sights of Los Angeles within easy driving distance.
The hotel was small, quaint, and in the perfect location for seeing the sights of Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, The Grove and Farmer's Market and Hollywood. Will definitely stay there again.
