First class in every aspect.

Stayed here for a wedding. Beautiful historic hotel with fantastic views for the ocean from the bar and dining room! They upgraded our room without asking and our room had a view of the beach as well as the Santa Monica Pier with the Ferris Wheel and all. Our room even had a tin toy replica of the Ferris Wheel. A little yellow rubber ducky was by the jacuzzi tub as well as alittle turtle soap. Very cute. Comfortable room with great sheets and we appreciated our turn down at night with water and slippers at our bedside. This hotel is expensive, but worth it for a splurge now and then.

We spent our honeymoon here and it was just amazing. The service was impeccable. We can't wait to go back.

This hotel is very beautiful, and the staff were great and very helpful.

The service is efficient, polite and helpful. Any room service request was complied within 2 minutes to 15 minutes, and with a smile. The whole of the staff were exceptionally guest-oriented and ready to please. The rooms are quiet, comfortable and very clean. The bar looks over the Pacific and is a fun room to enjoy a drink or some food. The restaurant also overlooks the ocean and the food was well-prepared and presented, consistently great. The hotel pool looks out over the ocean 5 floors high above it and is a serene place to have a nap or soak up the sun. Would highly recommend it and will always stay there when I can.

We had a great time, very special and hotel experience was very good.

We had a fire alarm on the 7th Sept and I was totally amazed on the response from the hotel staff... if I was to score you would be about 2/10.I brought this to the attention of the management that improvement was needed as if this was a real fire , there would have been total panic and most likely injured or even worst deaths. I know this will not be shown on your review but hope that something will be done to improve your response to a real issue as the safety for your staff and guests as most important that nobody gets hurt
