This place was charming, clean, luxurious and hip. I had a great time! The location is awesome, the staff generous, and the hotel restaurant represents the best of California fresh nouvelle cuisine. Awesome!

“Awesome hotel to stay at!!!:)”

The whole experience with this hotel was amazing. Aaron was the best concierge I have ever met. We were able to check in early and had a room upgrade in our convenience thanks to him. He was able to give some direction in where we should visit including maps as well. The hotel was awesome too. It was real nice and was kept up to date. The room was really cool too. Everything in the room was clean. The bed was super comfortable I wanted to stay in bed but kept reminding myself I was on vacation. The valet was $30/ day but we chose to park across the street for $20/day and we kept our keys. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. Please promote Aaron to management!

“Nice hotel, good location”

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The hotel has been nicely renovated. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were on the 6th floor and had a great view. The rooftop lounge was very nice. We had breakfast one morning and it was good. The staff was friendly and helpful.

“Best location and looking hotel on the Pacific Ocean coast!”

Overall, this hotel was top notch with everything – from the bed, having our own personal safe, refrigerator, microwave, and to top it off a beautiful view of the beach and mountains. Also, the welcoming at Hotel Erwin was fabulous because I felt like royalty when they opened the door for us, and they always greeted us no matter what time of day or night it was. Lastly, the art work throughout the hotel was amazing and modern; I especially loved the graffiti in the entrance way outside the hotel building.

“Awesome Place”

Stayed here 6 nights and loved it. The location can't be beat and the hotel was great. It has the Venice Beach vibe, if that is your thing you will love it. If Venice is not your thing stay at an airport hotel. Can't beat the convenience of being almost right on the beach and the valet parking. Good food at the hotel and much more within walking distance.

“The roofbar alone is reason to stay”

The rooftop bar is now open and is a one of kind place. The views are amazing of the ocean and surrounding city and hills. Drinks are expensive but the staff is friendly and food was great. They also have a breakfast/lunch little cute restaurant downstairs in the lobby and outside. I didn't upgrade to the more expensive room that directly faced the ocean but my room still had a bit of an ocean view and was more than adequate. You are right on the famous Venice boardwalk with so many shops and street performers, you could spend 2 days just walking around. Probably not the best spot to be walking around with little ones at night if you have a family. Yes, parking is $25.00/night. You can come and go as you please. You could probably parking in the nearby neighborhood if you choose.
