We chose this hotel due to being so close to the Carnival terminal. A beautiful property right on the water, but unfortunately there was a union protest going on that was allowed on the property. Right next to the main entrance a group was playing drums, blowing horns and chanting over bullhorns. Every 10 minutes or so they would march around the property doing the same with the obvious intent of making the guests want to complain or leave. It was VERY LOUD and started at 6am. Why they are allowed on the property to do this is beyond Understanding. Usually this happens out at the street near the entrance, not marching around the rooms! I can only imagine the management is in on this. Considering it is a Hilton property, and at a price that matches.....well we won't be staying here again. As to the rooms, they are beautifully appointed and the property is beautiful. They need more lighting in the rooms. With all the lights on, we still needed to use the lights on our phones to look in our luggage, etc. If you stay here, make sure the unions aren't in control that day!

AC unit extremely loud and woke us up during the night, protests outside in the morning. There was also a dead bug in our sink when we arrived. Everything else appeared to be clean. Don’t think it was worth the $200 /night bill but it is what it is

Very noisy , you can hear people moving in the other rooms, the water kept running in our toilet. Note in the room mentioned the workers strike started at 5am, could not sleep.

Issue in the phone with staff saying my reservation was cancelled and put on hold. Arrived and fortunately reservation was fine as well got check in early. Restaurant was amazing. Country concert was walking distance from the hotel which was perfect too.

The first morning there were people making noise at 6-7am... like boycotting... you couldn't understand anything, and wasn't sure if it was part of the hotel or what it was. We had arrived late, and wanted to rest... They were there for a long time and wouldn't be quiet and didn't look like they were being stopped. When returning back to the hotel in the afternoon, someone had ran over the barrier gate arm... made us felt unsecured.

It was a great location with kids. They really enjoyed the heated pool. Didn’t see much staff and no service by the pool but clean towels were available and amenities were up to par.

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. The view is wonderful. The rooms are not as good as the Marriott next door which are suites so they come with a kitchen but the Marriott does not have a patio or as good of a view as the maya. 5 minutes walk to the queen Mary, 15 min walk to aquarium of the pacific and rainbow harbor 20 min walk to shoreline village . Metro station 20 min walk and will take you into downtown for around 10 dollars round trip. 25 min to Disney by car or 1.5 hours by bus ( bus is 8 dollors round trip.

Hotel was nice and clean a really conveniently close to concert venue but they were really understaffed. No rooms to ck in toeven by 5. My bags were left at concierge.. we’re not taken to room as I told it would be so had to carry bags up to room after all day and evening at a concert They closed restaurant and bar and no room service at 10:15 .. left us in a bind as we planned to eat at hotel.

The property is nice, but the area is much more isolated than anticipated, and getting to the location is confusing. We had initially paid for a balcony with a city view. We got the balcony but not a city view. I probably won't be coming back to stay at this hotel.

STAY FAR AWAY. Worst hotel I've stayed at in 20 years. Close to the Queen Mary 2, but nothing else. Hot tub only got to 92 degrees. Floor lamp in the room had broken on/off knob. Staff was picketing the hotel with a bullhorn when we arrived due to some contract issue. We were put in a room facing an on-site wedding reception venue that blasted music until two hours past their own posted quiet time.

Protesters outside hotel with megaphones, making a lot of noise. Room doesn’t look anything like the website. Bar was small and dirty. Sticky stuff all over the bar. Restaurant is extremely limited, everything being spicy. Bedside light not working. Bathroom super small and only a pedestal sink and no where to do makeup. Certainly not worth the $400 that I paid.

I requested the walk out patio and as soon as we opened the door it smelled like mildew so bad! we were in a rush to make it to our dinner reservations and when we got back we were sad because we wanted a walk out patio so we tried leaving the sliding door open and it was still horrible me and my husband got horrible headaches and i started breaking out in hives! Even the floor boated were squishy and making noise like it was flooded. There was BLACk MOLD on the ceiling in the corner that i didn’t see because the lighting in the room is very low. I called and asked for another room and they did move me and brought my keys. very inconvenient and we had to move all our stuff again. That room should be banned!
