Wonderful, small B&B 5 minutes from the beach. The breakfast is great (fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, oatmeal, hot eggs), help yourself style. The rooms are nicely decorated and unique, and the common areas are very nice as well. There is a small fridge with drinks and a snack basket.

Channel Road Inn was a great place to stay away from the hubbub of LA. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the bed and pillows extremely comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and wine and cheese were really appreciated. Channel Road Inn has a peaceful ambience, yet so close to great shopping and the beach.

I stayed in LA for business for 2 days and found Topanga Canyon Inn on Expedia. So happy I did! Great location although the description or the email from the Inn should specify that the B&B is located on a rather curvy, bumpy, steeply inclined road. I found the place without a wrong turn but I can see how people have trouble as there is limited signage and it is in a more remote (compared to most of LA) area. Once you are there, it is well worth the initial search!!! The hosts are warm and make a wonderful breakfast. Busy place and I enjoyed meeting the other guests from all over!

The owners were charming and the hotel a complete Victorian experience. Great attention to details; it is modern you are looking for this will not work. The hotel is authentic, cozy and so much character. A beautiful veranda surrounds the house, perfect for an early morning cup of tea or an early evening glass of wine. the owners set up afternoon tea/coffee and cakes (help yourselves) . There is a little library with comfortable chairs and quite a selection of books, a beautiful living room to sit by the fire, meet friends for a chat, fresh flowers and garden views. Breakfast was freshly made and tasty and we met some wonderful and interesting people

If you are used to staying in hotels it can initially be a little unsettling walking into a B&B but then you come to appreciate the personal touch, especially after a long plane trip from Australia.
The staff were very friendly but also leave you alone to enjoy your space in peace.
I loved coming to breakfast every morning to be looked after by the housekeeper who would bring coffee and toast and cook eggs to order. When you are far away from home a little homely touch is very much appreciated.
The room was quiet and very comfortable.
LA is a city that really needs motorised transport to get around, I got by with busses (a pretty decent and regular service), trains and Uber.
