Howard Johnson Pasadena

We stayed overnight on our way through Los Angeles from Las Vegas. The hotel was very comfortable, handy to shops and freeway.

We had a great experience at this hotel during our honeymoon in May, staff are very helpful and friendly. Good location with quite a number of restaurants and supermarkets. We will definitely recommend this hotel.

The pool is extremely small. Overall, the hotel is in a great location to downtown Pasadena and the complimentary breakfast helped us on a budget!!

This is one of the hotels where most of the settings in the room pleased me. It's not any luxury hotel, but clean and everything is just right in the room, including bedding, appliances and bathroom settings. Location might not be the best, but if you are OK with the area, and looking for a not so expensive hotel, I won't hesitate to recommend this one.

My business partner and I were able to relax and get our work done without any snags. The walls and ceiling were paper thin and we had to run the fan just to provide some white noise. Ear plugs are a must. The beds were very comfortable.

I didn't expect much at the low price but was VERY pleasantly surprised. The room was well maintained and looked fresh and clean. It had a small refrigerator and microwave, HD flat screen and free wifi. The breakfast was decent. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

In town for a 3 day painting workshop. The hotel was perfect and the price was great. The rest of the attendees stayed ay the Hilton which was way more $$$ and our pool/jacuzzi looked great. Too bad I was too busy to use either of them. Front desk staff, Taylor, was very attentive and helpful.

I just needed a place to stay for the night in L.A., so i didn't expect too much. When we first got there, the parking lot was nearly full. The staff in the front seems like he was waiting for us, so we felt super bad. But he was nice. The hotel looks a little old, but the rooms are quite clean. I love the big closet mirrors! The bed was comfortable and the room smells fine. My experience was great. Since i only stayed for one night, I can't really say much. But for just the night, it was great! I will recommend it!
