The pool and lounge area was dirty. Beds were small and uncomfortable!

Nice hotel in great location

Posted Jul 20, 2014
This hotel was perfect. Across the street from the Westfield and many restaurants. Didn't have to use the car once. Very clean and everything appeared new. Was pretty quiet after 10pm considering there was a jazz fest just outside the hotel, which I really enjoyed as well. Many things to do nearby and great hotel overall. Would definitely stay there again

Great hotel -- staff needs a bit of an overhaul

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: The rooms.
Cons: Staff.
Location: Shopping, restaurants, good location.
I've stayed here twice with consistent experiences. The hotel itself is lovely and the rooms are very nice. The pool area very nice, although it becomes a kiddie destination at times and you have to leave to get away from them. I believe the staff strives to please you, however, I think the downfall is that they are very understaffed. At times the wait can be long for getting your car or checking in/out. For me the right procedure for getting your car is that the valets are out front and are available to get your car for you. In this case almost every time, the valet is somewhere else and you are looking for them or there is a sign to go back inside and give them your ticket. In one case, with no valet present, I gave my keys to the front desk only to find my car sitting in the same place the next morning and it had not been moved or parked.

Nice hotel right in the town center

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Felt like it needed a little spring cleaning.
Location: Six Flags and Universal Studios. Highly recommend the plantinum flash pass at Six Flags. If you are only going for a day or two it is much worth it!
Stayed at the Hyatt for 3 nights to go to Six Flags / Hurricane Harbor and Universal. Good location, right next to the free trolley stop which takes you right to the front gate of Six Flags. Hotel is right in the town center near a ton of restuarantes...mostly chains. The room was decent and the overall hotel was decent, just felt like the overall hotel needed a little cleaning / sprucing up.

If you like OLD and HOT this is the place for you.

Pros: Close to shopping and dining.
Cons: Coffee in the room was terrible, come on people is it to much to ask for a decent cup of coffee? Cool air? Comfortable bed?
Location: Close to Magic Mountain, Hurricane Harbor and all down town Valencia dining and shopping.
Checking in was easy enough but the hotel staff laughed when I asked if there were any rooms with balconies. Guess that was a no. Got to the room and cranked up the air to 60 degrees. Never did cool off at all. Woke up sweating that night several times, or did I wake up because the mattress was hard as a rock and so old. Gross. I expected much better from the Hyatt. Oh I remember what woke me the first time at 2am. It was a loud ruckus down at the hot wings bar. Police on a bull horn and a lot of yelling from drunken patrons. Yeah for me! Ugh, don't waste your hard earned money on this hotel it just didn't measure up to my standards.

Absolutely the best place to stay!

Pros: The friendly staff , beautiful charming hotel, and excellent location
Cons: The hotel room king bed
Location: Perfect location- my 12 year old daughter and I went shopping and had dinner And walked from the hotel
Traveling on a Friday from the Bay Area (northern California ) to Lake Elsinore ( so cal) decided to stop for the night in Valencia . Many hotel chains located by six flags magic mountain , right next to the freeway exit ramps on I-5. The automobile noise you hear from I-5 did not seem a desirable place to spend the night. Solution - just 2 miles east of I-5 is the Hyatt Regency in charming downtown Santa Clarita. The Hyatt staff is friendly and professional and upgraded my hotel room to one with a balcony . Absolutely the best place to stay if you are visiting the area!

Lovely hotel with great downtown Valencia access.

Pros: Cleanliness, professional staff, and accessibility to shopping and restaurants.
Cons: There were no fans in the bathrooms which I found to be unusual and inconvenient.
Location: Nice restaurants, boutiques, and freeway access were convenient.
My husband and I flew into Burbank to attend our youngest son's college graduation. The Masters College is located in Santa Clarita and we decided to stay in Valencia for the access to restaurants and shopping. It was only 5 miles from the campus so perfect location! All the staff at the Hyatt were friendly, professional, and very welcoming when we arrived.
