I tend to stop at LAX, get a car and drive to Vegas for a conference, and this is an awesome place to recuperate after the long flight, and Torrance is a nice place from what I can tell from my day there. Highly Recommended.

Our stay at the Malibu Beach Inn was so lovely we couldn't quit talking about wanting to return. We were greeted by the best service, atmosphere and view that could be hoped for. Our 3rd story room with a gabled ceiling, balcony and heavenly view, couldn't have been better. So much attention is given to every detail that it feels totally like home away from home. We didn't want to leave! Dining was enjoyable. Immediate access to a flawless sandy beach with every service you might need, was a delight. We slept very comfortably, with our fireplace creating the best atmosphere. The products and snacks provided were also very enjoyable. We will plan to stay longer on our return visit.

The Sunset is a beautiful Art Deco hotel, with efficient and courteous staff, and a lovely restaurant.
On arrival, there was apparently a problem with the room we were booked into, so we had a drink in the Terrace Bar while we waited to see if they could fix it. The Bar overlooks the city skyline, and it was a splendid start to the stay. They obviously couldn't get the room ready for a while, so we were upgraded, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was lovely, and beautifully appointed.
We ate at the Tower Bar and the food was delicious. Service and attention to detail was splendid.
The valet service was fast and efficient, and the hotel itself was close to all the Hollywood must-sees.

Discovered this oasis of Cool and calm last year while exploring Claremont Village. Was already staying somewhere else, so promised myself to book here if I was ever passing by again. The stars aligned and I got my chance this week. All my initial expectations were met and exceeded.

Being from Western Canada and our first trip to LA we were thinking huge building with a lot of people. Wow were we surprised by this perfect little hotel. Robert the owner took the time to make sure our stay was perfect. Parking just steps from your door makes taking bags to your room very easy. Nice little breakfast every morning and friendly staff will make us come back again. I also couldn't get over how accommodating and friendly they were to us making sure we had everything we needed including maps and general advise about the neighborhood. The location is really good to with good restaurants and shopping all within walking distance.
