Very peaceful and clean.Posted Aug 20, 2014
Lovely Inn. Clean, peaceful and very nice. Cookies waiting at check-in and soft music playing in room. Was upgraded upon check-in and pleasant surprise. Staff very nice. Nice experience

Pros: It was very quiet. The rooms were nicely decorated. There is A/C but it is so close to the beach that just opening the windows cooled the room.
Cons: The bed was slightly uncomfortable.
Location: Lots of places to eat. 2 blocks from the beach. Great view of the wetlands for birders. Adjacent to Marina del Rey.
We were greeted by a friendly young lady. It was my husband's birthday so they brought us a small bottle of champagne and glasses.

Home away from home!Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Friendliness, comfort, inviting area, clean, etc.
Location: Many beaches, close to the Pacific Coast Highway, close to the airport but didn't really hear any airport traffic. Not too far from the Hollywood area
Inn at Playa Del Rey was amazing! It was so cozy and very inviting. The staff was amazing. They tried to get to know their customers as soon as possible. We were there over the 4th of July and the night of the 4th when everyone was sitting on the deck watching fireworks, the staff made popcorn and handed out boxes of treats. The Inn felt like we were staying at a family or friends place. They had beach towels and bikes you could use at no extra cost. The breakfast area always had coffee, tea and some sort of small snack if needed later at night. They had a fridge and ice machine that was accessible to customers. Various sitting areas was extremely inviting to go sit and read a book. Overall, we loved the Inn at Playa Del Rey and would recommend it to anyone. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Nicest accommodation that you could ask for.Posted Jun 7, 2014
Pros: Everything you couldn't ask for more.
Location: The location is close to the airport, about 10 minutes by cab but they do have parking. Close to the beach and restaurants and bike paths.
Second time I have stayed at the Inn at Playa Del Ray and I can't recommend it high enough. From the time you walk through the door to leaving the staff are so accommodating and helpful, nothing is a problem for them. The wine and nibbles of an afternoon are very welcoming, breakfast is delicious, the decor is beautiful and the use of their push bikes to ride to Venice Beach and Santa Monica was so much fun.

Nice B&B, close to the beachPosted Jun 6, 2014
Pros: Proximity to beach, free bikes to use, great food, comfortable rooms & beds.
Cons: Air conditioning noise level.
Location: Bike ride along the beach, drive into Santa Monica or other LA areas quickly.
This was a very nice B&B. We got a great rate & they upgraded us to a nicer room for the same price since it was our anniversary. Everything was clean, the food & staff were great. The only drawback was the air conditioning in the room was very loud but it was too warm to sleep without it. Other than that we were very pleased overall with our stay.

So close too the airport & the beach!Posted May 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
A really good hotel. Super friendly & well run with a very homely atmosphere. Very clean too. The proximity to both the airport & the beach is amazing with natural land & a bird sanctuary next door. Will definitely stay here again!

They make the best of a New England style old building. While the dining room views of the marsh are nice and relaxing, the room was hot and the breakfast offering inadequate. My room faced an adjacent restaurant. I arrived late and parking was a challenge. THe room itself was clean and attractive. For one night it was OK.

absoluetly loved the Inn at Playa del rey....service, on the ball/invested staff, quaint & relaxing ambiance, room decor, access to bikes, fragrance of the flowers as i walked in, the bowl full of hershey kisses, 5pm wine tasting, breakfast, patio. Only negative..windows needed washing, visible hand prints on white doors(looked a bit grungy).
