Not a happy stay

Posted Oct 28, 2014
The rooms were small and no ventilation. I felt suficated. The bathroom wallsand ceiling had mildew and one of my sheets had a stain and last I had to replace my iron as the one in my room did not work and burned my shirt.

Good airport hotel

Posted Oct 18, 2014
Didn't hear any airplane noise inside. Children ran unsupervised around the pool (which was very cold) so I would not recommend to people who would rather not be around kids

Old tired hotel

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: None
Cons: Need major renovation to upgrade facility
My wife and I booked this hotel to take advantage of the airport shuttle service. The hotel needs renovation We were given a room that has the following problems;the light in the bathroom will not go off; the A/C does not work and very noisy I called the front desk who sent a maintence guy who spent almost half an hour but could not fix it. I finally shut it off to be able to sleep. He also could not fix the bath room light. I finally just close the door and left the light on Because I am a silver elite Marriott member the clerk said she will upgrade me to a balcony room. The trouble is that the balcony was filthy and I did not use it One more thing I specifically asked for a king size bed but was given a double bed which makes the room very cramp We ate at the restaurant called Latitude 33. The food was awful All in all it was a terrible experience!!!

LA Airport Marriott

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Breakfast was great - purchased with room
Cons: Allow for in and out parking with one ticket
Location: close to airport
Close to airport, if you are not using valet, parking can be a bit of problem. So many cars and not enough spaces. Was not as quiet as we would have liked. Closing of doors and can hear noise directly outside of room.

Pros: Close proximity to airport
Cons: Air condoning unit, signage for guests to be quiet in corridors
Location: There was not anything near by however hotel offered shuttle bus for a fee to manhatten beach and there was a bus stop right outside the hotel
We stayed here for three nights, we picked this hotel due to the closeness to airport after a 11.5 hour international flight. We had a room on the first floor which was disappointing and there was an ice machine outside the door which was quite noisy. The air conditioning unit was really noisy so we were unable to turn it on so it was very warm in the room. Housekeeping was great they accommodated all our extra pillows and towels request and the rooms were clean. Quite noisy in corridors at night with guests checking in at different times and chatting in the corridor outside our room.

Thank you for your comments, I am sorry to hear about your air conditioning unit. It would be great to know what room you were in so that we may assure that it is fixed so no other guests have the same experience. Thank you for staying with us. Best regards, ~ Vince B.

Pros: The location was close enough to take a cab to and from the Forum.
Cons: The food is too pricey for the quality. They seemed to be understaffed as well. Do not eat here if you are under any time constraints.
Location: Very close to the airport and the Forum.
We attended a concert at the Forum. The hotel was very nice

Needed to spend the night in LA after a trip to Mexico, and needed something convenient to lax. This hotel was clean and had lots of restaurant options to choose from. Convenient airport shuttle. Overall, a terrific experience.

More than adequate and convenient to airport

Only issue was after dropping bags and and checking in, getting back to hotel from Hertz drop off (they wanted $40 to drop off at hotel) was an issue. Fortunately, the Hertz shuttle driver was nice enough to vary his route and drop me back at hotel.
