Very pleasant hotel - staff were very accommidating. The complimentary breakfast is ample. Included is an afternoon tea with an assortment of cheese & crackers and cookies. With breakfast and afternoon tea we skipped lunch most days. Avoid the valet parking fee by parking on the street - it's safe and easy

“Will Make This a Recurring Destination”

The Malibu Beach Inn did an excellent job in every aspect of my stay...clean, stylish, comfortable and above-par customer service from the exceptional front desk staff, to the restaurant staff and even the valet. I stayed one night at Shutters On the Beach the night before I changed to the Malibu Beach Inn for half the price and the latter beat the former hands over fist in all aspects of my stay. I recommend this hotel 100%.

“Great Location, Great Hotel”

I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay. The hotel staff were very friendly and i was able to check in and out without any hassle. The breakfast was great and the views were spectacular. Considering its size, this hotel gave a "home-like" feel. Not to mention, the sound of the waves crashing on to the shore helped me get a great sleep. Pepperdine University is 5 miles from it and the all famous Malibu Pier is right outsided the hotel. Lunches are Pricey and the Velets charge too much but other than that the stay here is very pleasant.

“Beautiful View of Pacific Ocean in Malibu”

Ocean view was fantastic from room and balcony. Beach was immediately accessible from short walk to lobby. Staff set up comfortable chairs and umbrella with a great ocean view and plenty of sunshine. Complementary breakfast was healthy and quick. After leaving I realized I'd forgotten some clothing in the hotel room. Staff were very helpful in locating the clothing and said they would mail it to me asap. I would only reccommend that valet parking be optional. I would rather know I have my car key and have immediate access to my vehicle. I'd also rather not have to pay the daily valet parking fee.

Next visit to Malibu Beach Inn, I wll not leave. I will eat, read, spa, walk the beach, and sleep there. I can't wait to return and not leave!

“Beautiful location- perfect romantic getaway”

beautiful location, you can hear the waves from your balcony. Awesome setting to grab a drink or some food at sunset or into the nite with the blazing fire on the porch overlooking the ocean and heat lamps to keep you warm. Would recommend the Malibu Beach Inn to couples on a romantic trip or if you're just looking to enjoy the beach in a peaceful location. Only down side was since we did not have a ocean front room, we were on the side of the hotel (could still see the ocean and pier from our room) we heard cars zooming by in the evening and early morning rather than the waves we wanted to hear. Would request an ocean front room if I stay again. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. No need to valet your car- just park on the street and avoid the $27 charge.

“Perfect!”

This is an exquisite hotel with all the attention to detail one would desire in a luxury property. The view is glorious, the service is superb, the room was luxurious and comfortable, breakfast overlooking the beach was divine. We had a wonderful time!
