hotel staff was amazing. not only was the magnificent but the cleanliness was just what i wanted t see. comfortable king size bed as well as a fantastic view. would def stay here again

Weekend stay

Location: fairly close (Time) to downtown and restaurants.
Check-in & out was excellent. Staff responsive, polite, and helpful. WF in the room should be free and not require a trip to the lobby just to check email for instance. Breakfast request for out on the patio was refused due to "reserved status" but no guests arrived to use it during our breakfast meal-time. The toilet articles provided for 'forgetful' guests was appreciated (tooth brush and safety razor kit). I would recommend it and stay again.

A nice place to stay, but

Pros: the lobby, the parking attendents.
Cons: Free Wi-Fi in rooms.
Location: Isolated and not much to do without a car.
The lobby of the hotel is wonderful. The rooms are nice. However for the price you pay you should get free Wi-Fi in your room and not have to run down to the lobby. Its location is a little out of the way from the action. A quick trip back to LAX.

Pros: Location, cleanliness, polite staff from concierge, restaurant and housekkeping crew
Cons: To create a card that you can leave hanging from the door asking for more supplies, such as : towels, coffee , cream etc.
Location: Restaurant, Ralphs supermarket, Venice Beach , Starbucks ...great location
Starting at check in everything was very pleasant. Some of my colleagues stayed at the Ritz Carlton and they were somewhat dissapinted. Thanks , CB

Memorial Weekend Getaway

Pros: Pillow top mattress, staff professionalism.
Cons: Not really a 4 ***** star hotel as advertised. Room should be listed as street / parking lot view with standing outside rail, not as a balcony.
Location: Ugly store outside window. Beach at least 2 miles away. Fridge and microwave should in all rooms, not on request and availability. FREE INTERNET !!!!!
Outstanding staff and service. However, price for room overlooking a parking lot is outrageous. Forced valet parking with you expecting to tip porter(s) each time to request your car or retuning to the hotel is outrageous. Cart to bring luggage up and downn is controlled. Memorial Day weekend is not an excuse to fleece your guest. Next year when Pacific Hotel on Bali Way is reopen more completion will be on the streets again. INTERNET IS FREE AT MCDONALDS and STARBUCKS why should your guest pay???

Nice hotel

It was really nice but valet parking exaggerates on the price. Rooms were nice but you can here all the loudness from people upstairs. Didn't get a good rest.

Over priced and Poor cleaning staff

Pros: Nice location.
Cons: Stop nickel and dimeing your guests.
Nice location. Nice room. Cleaning staff left 4 cleaning carts in the hall for 2 days until I had to complain. We spent a month touring the South West United States and we discovered that the more you pay for a hotel, the LESS you get. This establishment charged extra for everything, parking, internet, simple in-room bottle water. No fridge in room. No microwave in room. Very disappointed. We paid less than half of what the Marriot charged, for very nice hotels up and down the coast, and we got a lot more (including fantastic views).
