Simply basicPosted Jul 5, 2013
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Finish up refurbishment asap
Location: Good location
Although under refurbishment with buikding work being done inside., it offered a basic place to stay overnight that was convenient and cheap. This place is not recommended to woe or impress your partner but if you sre dimply looking gor a base to stay that is cheap. This is it. Think bed n breakfast. Location is excellent. Room is bare but you should sleep well. My room had a flat screen tv, air conditioning a little noisy though. Location of hotel is safe and you are close to the attractions. The room is a bit small. I stayed 2 nights one with a queen size bed the other 2 kings.. I would say the room with queen bed feltba bit more spacious. Simply put very budget hotel in good location. No frills whatsoever but comfortable snd clean
They will open your doors without knockingPosted Jun 6, 2013
Location: Scary at night to walk alone.
There are very few parking spots and they were all taken so we ended up having to find street parking two blocks away. Room was clean and looked recently renovated however half the motel was still under construction. Housekeeping tried to open the door twice without knocking, but luckily had the latch across. They didn't seem to get the idea that we didn't want housekeeping for a one night stay and kept screaming through the door while we were trying to sleep. Not very good experience at all.

Affordable stay at a great locationPosted Jun 2, 2013
Pros: They remodeled since the last time I stayed there. Nice decor and flat screen TV in the room. Also, a nice half wall/hallway to the bathroom.
Cons: The walls are thin and people who party on Hollywood Blvd come in late. It can get a little loud. It's quieter if you don't stay on the first floor.
Location: This motel a short walk from Hollywood Blvd in the heart of Hollywood.
I've stayed at this hotel a few times. It's a short walk from Hollywood Blvd and reasonably priced. The walls are thin and people are usually coming in from the clubs late, so you will hear people in the halls into the early morning hours. It's a little quieter if you're not on the first floor. This is the second time I've stayed there on a holiday weekend and had to park at a parking garage a block away. Their garage fills up when they're booked. It's $10/day at the hotel and $12/day at the public parking garage. It's just a hassle to have to park and walk or move your car. The hotel remodeled since the last time I was there. The new decor is modern. They have flat screen TV's on the walls and maximize space. There was also a table and a small bench/booth which makes it a little homey. There's a wall separating the bathroom and bedroom that creates a space for dressing and hanging your clothes. The cut out in the wall let's exterior light through and the air from the AC can reach the bathroom. It's a smart design the gives the illusion of more space and also makes it feel less like a cheap motel. The bathrooms are also decorated with modern designs for lighting and storage for towels and toilet paper. It's a nice tough that makes it a lot nicer to stay at this motel.

Affordable comfortPosted May 6, 2013
Pros: The staff was the most impressive part of the hotel.
Cons: Dressers or more shelves.
Location: Only a few blocks away from the school we were visiting. Close to all of the Hollywood attractions and a short drive to the beach.
The staff was very accomodating. The hotel was extremely close to all of our destinations. The room was clean and recently renovated.

locationPosted May 6, 2013
Pros: I didn't have any issues at this motel. It was quiet and the people i encountered were quite friendly.
Location: The location is what you'd expect being in LA. But, It was walking distance to The Walk of Fame. and not have to drive.
It was a nice stay for overnight stay. The hotel was clean. The 24hr watch in parking garage, but extra $10.00. But was worth it to know that my car is safe.

The worst hotel I have ever been toPosted Apr 16, 2013
There was water or urine around the toilet. and I left money under a personal mirror and while none of it was taken it was no longer under the mirror which means someone went in our room while we were gone and I had the do not disturb on the door. I was so furious I couldn't even talk to the manager

Simple but effectivePosted Apr 1, 2013
I was traveling on business and spent very little time in my room. It was clean and had an adequate space to do small amounts of paperwork. The lack of food was not much of a problem as there was a convenience store a block away that sold fresh fruit, etc.

Good for the MoneyPosted Mar 28, 2013
Pros: Price, Location
Cons: Street People
Location: Steps to Hollywood Boulevard
Steps to Hollywood BLVD however a little sketchy area. Tweakers on the sidewalk, homeless people close by. Motel staff were friendly and even called after we checked in to make sure we were happy with the room, nice touch. It was cheap so my expectations were low. This place was redone recently so the rooms were great for the money. Not a bad stay for the price.

Excellant Hotel for the Location and Price!Posted Mar 25, 2013
Pros: We absolutely love the hotel staff! They are very friendly and willing to assist you with any need you may have!
Location: We love that the hotel is centrally located to all of the things we need! It's just a quick jaunt to shopping and close to my daughters new college!
On our first visit to this hotel back in July 2012, we chose this hotel for the price. While this hotel may not have all of the amenities of many other hotels (i.e. continental breakfast, pool, etc.), it does provide the basics that you need in a hotel - a nice clean room that has recently been remodeled, comfortable beds, a refrigerator to keep food and drinks cool in as needed, and a place to relax and keep cool in after a long day of shopping and walking around Hollywood Blvd! My daughter and I we very pleased with this hotel and the staff on our first trip, when we came here to visit a potential college. The staff was very friendly and more than helpful to direct us to great places in the area to visit where locals like to hang out to eat, which helped make our trip even more pleasant and allowed my daughter to get a better feel for the city. When we returned on our second trip for her Audition to AMDA in March 2013, there was no question where we would stay! The second trip was an even better experience than the first! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and once again, the room was clean and inviting, providing us everything needed for our stay. My daughter has been accepted to her school and there is no doubt that this will be my hotel of choice to stay in every trip I make back when I come to visit her at school!
