“Disappointed”
They had a mix up with our Expedia reservations, overbooked, so did not get the expected king bed setup. Hotel lobby, restarurants and grounds look nice, but actual rooms are sub-par. Rooms need to be updated, bathtub was clogged, old TV with poor reception, minibar/fridge didn't work. Breakfast buffet overpriced for what you get, although seafood buffet was good and they had a wide variety of items to choose from. Restaruant service itself was very good.
“I rather stay at Holiday Inn near by”
Pro Service – Friendly staff willing to go above and beyond. Location – Nice neighborhood with easy access to freeway. Safe – The room comes with a safe that will hold an ipad. Con Cleanliness – During our 2nd night, the room maintenance crew replaced a “new” bed sheet that comes with a huge stain, approximately 4 inch diameter. I am not sure if that’s a blood or a wine stain, but it was very obvious that the crew decided to ignore it. Floor is also unclean. I do expect a clean room if I am staying at a resort. Bathroom – Very small. The shower door doesn’t seal well. Fridge – Small, and loaded with prefilled merchandise. No freezer. Overall I stayed at a Holiday Inn nearby before at a lower cost. I would still choose to stay at Holiday Inn even if Pacific Palm Resort offers the same price.
“best place to stay in the area”
Great place and convinient located. Strongly recommand.
“Loved my stay!”
Beautiful surrounding landscape. Hotel rooms were comfortable and clean. Hotel staff professional and cheerful. Food at Red was amazing!
“Nice”
Very nice at a good price, would come back for sure. Meals were great, me and my wife had the best steak we ever had a the red resteraunt
“Very good, but....”
Beautiful hotel in a great location. The first room they gave us was between the elevators and a wedding party, so we asked to move. They moved us into a small room with a small bed. Granted, it was quiet, but not what we were expecting. I went back to the front desk, and they were able to find a better room on a higher floor. All's well that ends well. My only complaint about the room is that the TV was really old and the remote didn't work most of the time. They definitely need to upgrade to modern TVs. Otherwise, the hotel was great and the staff was helpful in changing our room. Also, the Cima Restaurant Asian buffet on Saturday night was outstanding. Loved it!
“Exciting Weekend Getaway!”
Well appointed room with a stunning view! Stayed for a large party and had a great weekend!
“good hotel for the area”
This was the nicest hotel for the surrounding area. It is not a touristy area, it's more residential/commercial. I'm not sure if it was because of the rate I got (it was lower than the advertised rate, of course) but my room overlooked the rooftop where the heliport was. Not such a great view, but my stay was only one night and I was gone until midnight, so the view wasn't so important. The room was hot when I went in, but the air conditioning cooled it eventually. Of course while it was doing so, it was very noisy in the room. The room was clean and the bed was pretty comfy. The TV was a tube style rather than flat screen. The water pressure for the shower was great, but the tub was slow to drain & I was standing in about 5" of water by the time I was done. The shower handle came off in my hand but I was able to put it back on. There was a heat lamp in the bathroom, which made it very warm when blow drying my hair. A separate switch would be nice. The workout room was ample. Overall, it was an ok experience
“will go back soon”
everything was excellent expect the carpet was not clean, it had stains and our rooms where not done the first day we where there...besides that everything else was excellent, this was our second time staying there and we will continue to do so
“Not bad.”
They can really update their TV sets to either plasma or LCD.
