EXPEDIA should provide a monetary refund see YELP

Posted Aug 8, 2014
On the first day we got there The Pacific Palms Resort gave us the wrong room. Specifically asked for the hotels double delux bed room on our Expedia Itinerary. When we reached the hotel the. Front desk gave us a king room and blamed Expedia for authorizing the room change that we never asked for. This set the tone for more problems to come. The front desk did not have any additional rooms available for a visit due to two weddings that were going on simultaneously at this. Which book up all the other rooms. We were originally asked to pay a $35 per night roll away bed fee to accommodate our daughter. Not only was the bed uncomfortable and unstable the room was too small to fit the bed. Obviously we complain to the front desk and they offered us another room the next day. We were also refunded are $35 for the night. The second room had a drainage problem in the shower area which caused dirty bathing water to accumulate around our ankles. This was totally unacceptable and a hygienic issue. In addition to that we locked our belongings in the safe which failed and we had to call for the front desk to have an engineer sent to the room to break the safe open so we can get our belongings out. All this wasting valuable vacation time. Obviously we ask for another room this time we asked for an upgrade and the manager. Again we were told that they were no rooms available due to the wedding reception which seem to book the hotel solid. The third room lacked shower pressure.

Busy Hotel

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Super busy hotel, beautiful area, easy parking. The bed was a little too worn it, could use an upgrade. Room was clean just not many conveniences, like a micro, extra plugs for chargers, mirror above the desk for getting dressed. Overall the view was well worth it.

A top notch hotel at a great value

Posted Jul 11, 2014
$130/day for a hotel like really worth your dollars! Golf course is very nice, costing only $45 to play. Great views, either you choose city or golf view. Rooms are clean. However, getting to the guest room is a bit confusing as you have to take two elevators. Breakfast is a bit disappointing: $17.50 with little selection. Anyway, it is definitely a place I will revisit.

Stayed for an week family vacation hotel was nice staff was nice the room great. Worst part is the traffic to downtown L.A. we did a lot of theme parks and meusem. So we had to travel through traffic. But our hotel was nice our room was nice and our view was nice.. even though our cell phones reception was bad because of the mountains by us but overall trip was worth it.

The hotel is on nice grounds, but the rooms are less than expected. They have small worn out bathrooms. Just an ok stay overall.

Great golf resort, outside LA

Spacious hotel over serene hilltop course. Lovely mountain views. Located somewhat far from downtown Los Angeles. Loved the tree lined drive way up to hotel entrance. Breakfast buffet was somewhat limited.

One of the staffs at the front desk was not friendly or professional. She was rude to us. She is not very patient to clarify or answer my questions. She treats different people in different ways. She can be nice to some people who speak English fluently. The supervisor of her was much nicer after they found out they made some mistakes of my check in process.
