“Close to many authentic Chinese restaurants.”

Great golf course and driving range. If you like golf this is a great resort at a very reasonable price. My wife enjoys the Spa too. We picked this place because it's situated near the Roland Heights area where there are many great places to eat out. And speaking of eating, you will not want to miss the weekend buffet at the Cima restaurant in the hotel - simply fantastic!

“Out of the way, but worth the drive”

This beautiful hotel had views that were amazing as it sat on a hill. You can see it as you exit the freeway, even though it's 2 miles from the freeway. My boys would be excited as they could see it from that distance. The pool was peaceful and beautiful, and my boys loved the driving range - reasonable and the center of activity when the sun went down as it was lighted. I think all the people that live around there enjoy it as well. It was a drive to get to the hot spots of Hollywood or the beach, but if you drove it on off hours, it wasn't bad. And nice to have plenty of parking and free - in LA that's a luxury as it costs to park everywhere. Clean rooms, staff was welcoming, and my teenagers would go again - that's saying a lot right there!

“The location and grounds are beautiful.”

The staff were quick to respond and very friendly . The grounds are beautiful. If you do not play golf (and I don't) you will wish you did while staying there. Two Thumbs up. Be sure to ask for a room on the North West side so you can see the mountains, city lights, and the surise.

“Great even if you don't play golf”

Because I used the enormous property for jogging and walks with my wife. Indeed the property is huge and not within walking distance of even a cafe, but who said that you could have a vacation in the LA area without a car. My wife and I went for a 10 days vacation and wanted to be comfortable (my wife is very picky about hotels) and not feel surrounded by a concrete jungle. It is a perfect hotel and we got a great price too that included free wifi.
