Walking distance to the Convention Center

Posted Nov 30, 2014
Pros: friendly staff, clean rooms
Staff was super friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable. Although there is plenty of parking in the underground garage, you need to be very CAREFUL backing up as there are concrete columns on the side of each parking spot. I, unfortunately hit my car in the column while backing up. Also, the entrance and exit to the garage accommodates only one car at a time (so if a car is on the ramp coming into the garage and a car is trying to come out, one of the cars will have to back up). Other than hitting my car, I would recommend to stay at this inn.

Small rooms with no ventilation. Noisy AC and busy street.

4.1 / 5?! Really?

Posted Nov 21, 2014
The location is great, the value is good, and the staff are awesome, but this hotel needs a major facelift! The plush carpet is from 1950 and smells bad!

Recent business trip.

Posted Nov 21, 2014
Pros: Everything.
Cons: Possible bathroom update.
Location: Right off #110 in Old Pasadena. Close to everything.
I've passed this spot several times in the past, but always opted for the big name chains. Recently I was in Pasadena for a trade show and decided to give it a try this time. Turned out to be a great decision! Perfect location, within easy walking distance of the Pasadena Convention Center and several nice restaurants close by. A refreshing blend of blast-from-the-past motel hospitality and affordable pricing, but with many modern day amenities such as flat screen TV's, free breakfast and parking, etc. Looks like I've found my new favorite lodging in Pasadena. I'm looking forward to my next stay there!

If you wanna crash and not care for anything else.

Posted Nov 18, 2014
I know this is just an "Inn" but regardless... it should be maintained well... we got a non-smoking room but the moment we opened the door, the mildew stench smelling like dirty socks, wet dog and fart smell is very unexpected and made us turn back out. Went in quick to blast the AC to at least refresh the air in the room while we ate offsite, came back and the smell didn't quite go away so we just tolerate it. Was gonna ask for a different room but I poked my head in 3 otherwise that's being serviced and all have the same smell... could it be because the building is so old? Then as we were checking cleanliness, my partner noticed white spots on the bed cover in 3 different locations, so off the bed cover it goes. More checking... bathroom looks clean but how does it get sanitized? There's a label around the lid stating clean and sanitized, no other findings in the bathroom, shower is weak, tub rubber mat is old and worn. 1 face towel has black stain. Sink drains really slow. Now back to the bed, the blanket, pillow cases and and sheets looks clean but the smell of bleach lingers. If you're allergic to bleach, it will surely affect your skin. The bed is very comfortable but the pillows are flimsy, not enough to support your noggin. There's a draft of cold air through the unsealed door and it whistles whenever the wind blows. Morning breakfast - fresh fruits, coffee, waffles and sausages, taquitos, hardboiled eggs that you have to peel yourself, butter with no taste.

Great Little Hotel!

Posted Nov 18, 2014
We were only there for a night...checked in about 4pm and out by 10am the next day...we were there for a show. But...everything was great - really nice staff when we checked in and very attentive (they even got ice for us!). Nice, clean room...nothing fancy...but totally worked. And honestly...the bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in in a while! Overall...I would totally come and again and recommend to others. Also nice and close to downtown Old Pasadena - we walked there...

メトロやスーパーに近くて便利

Posted Nov 10, 2014

Pros: Location and price.
Cons: Allow dogs for an additional fee. The air conditioner was too noises to leave on at night and the room got hot.
Location: Everything you might want to do in Old Town Pasadena. Close to transportation so you could go anywhere.
Staff was friendly. Hotel was a good value for the price.

Pros: Central location and friendly and helpful staff.
Location: Great location close to great dining and arts.
We enjoyed our stay at the Pasadena Inn. It is centrally located in Pasadena and was very convenient location for seeing the towns arts and dining district. The staff were very friendly and helpful in every respect. I will be back.
