Pros: The employees
Cons: everything
Location: not bad
The staff was very nice but the room itself was dirty. carpet full of spots and grind in dirt (need cleaning),, bathtub was stained with dirt, floor in bathroom stained, the headboard of the bed where there was a grove was full of dust and dirt. table in room was stained. In the breadfast room there was no where to set and eat because of so many people. overall it was a very low rated place

Not what I expected from other reviews

Posted Jul 14, 2014
When we got to our room the lock wasn't working, but the staff was pretty quick to come and fix it. The room was ok until we noticed the stains on the floor and the mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom. I expected a little better for it being a 3 star hotel. There wasn't enough parking so we had to park way over by the front of the motel from our room. The cable tv was all scrambled and not working. The WiFi was extremely slow and not worth using. Breakfast was good, which is one of the reasons we picked this motel. As we were leaving we peaked in some other rooms that looked like maybe they were in better shape, so maybe because we got in later in the evening we got the last room available, I don't know. Still, mold on the ceiling is a bad sign. Probably will stay somewhere else next time.

Good value for the money.

Pros: The price was right, it was close to the Long Beach airport and the college & many stores and restaurants. Breakfast was included which was convenient
Cons: The rooms smelled a bit too much of disinfectant when we first arrived but the smell dissipated over time.
Location: It's close to the college and I was visiting for a graduation.
I recently stayed one night at the Quality Inn near the Long Beach airport and was satisfied. It's not fancy but the price isn't either. I thought it was convenient and a good value for the money. I'd stay there again.

Staff named Julio was very friendly. I couldn't check-in the day I had reserved so I called to reschedule, when I checked in I had no problems. Room was clean, breakfast was good (& free). Overall I give this hotel a 4star.

Never again

The rooms are old, outdated and smelly. The breakfast was ok but there was no place to sit and eat because the dining area is so small. Never again!!! Yuck!!!!

Guess I should not have booked so far in advance

Posted Jan 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
Neighborhood is not bad it is just not where someone would want to spend an entire vacation since nothing is close by. The staff was very helpful except for one major issue. I booked and paid for these two rooms SIX(6) MONTHS IN ADVANCE and when we arrived they were unable to provide us with adjoining rooms even though the adjoining room next to mine was unoccupied from the time we arrived until after we checked out.
