Just okay

Pros: The lobby was beautful
Cons: The rooms
Location: Nothing near the airport. But it is good if you are waiting for a flight the next day.
The AC did not work well and was barely cool in the room and the tv was quite old with limited channels.

A two star hotel at best!!!

Cons: Everything!!!
Location: Near Airport
Horrible experience. Great greeting at door by car service but downhill after that brief encounter. Found garbage left in trash can from previous guest, mattresses were of poor quality and the television was about a 20 inch screen with about 10 channels only 2 or 3 were visible through the snow. Left early in the morning 9:30 to do some sight seeing and when we got back at 4:00 our room was still not serviced even though we put the please service room outside the door when we left. Tired and could not relax in our room. Called down to housekeeping and they picked up phone and then hung up on us. Called again and told us would be right up. After 45 minute wait, called down to front desk twice, picked up and hung up on us again first time and then could not get an answer when called back. Went down to front desk and told them either send someone now or get us a new room. Fed up with a tired family went out to eat, at another hotel as prices here were ridiculous, Star Bucks a dollar more a cup than hotel next door. Returned finally to a room that was cleaned. Worse service I ever received and could complain abut check out and shuttle service, but if you choose to stay here expect this to be of the same poor service quality.

Old tired rooms. Close to LAX

Lobby was beautiful but rooms were very dated . The old 20" t.v. was pathetic. Bathroom was also dated and had ceramic tiles clued to the back edge of the bathtub. Mold in tub area. Roof leak stains on the ceiling. Desk lamp did not have a visible plug anywhere nearby to plug it in. Restaurant food was outragesly expensive.

Convenient if you are flying early

Pros: location
Cons: Rooms need to be refurbished and service staff need to adopt a service mindset.
Location: catch the plane
Not great...expensive parking, took a long time to get served upon check in, old room, no tea or coffee in the room. The all you can eat offer at the restaurant was ok...but the service was poor and all of the "offer" was not provided.

Close to LAX, but incompetent staff

The night staff at the front desk were slow, rude, and incompetent. Waited 30 minutes to be put in a room with one bed. When went down to switch said they were doing us a courtesy and didn't owe us a second bed despite having reserved a room for three adults. Second room did have two doubles so that three adults could sleep, but reeked of mildew. Stuck with it as too tired for more shenanigans. Thank goodness for Jose in the bar. It was my birthday and he brought me a piece of cake. A customer at the bar bought me a shot. The day manager did apologize, but while I waiting to speak to him, two airline crew came down. One had walked into an occupied room, the other's key didn't work. This hotel needs better management.

Good place to stay

Pros: If you have a car it is reasonably close to some of the highlights of the LA area, Sunset Blvd, Hollywood Blvd, Venice Beach and Santa Monica
Cons: Better food or at least more choices at a larger range of prices
Location: Location is good if you have a car and are able to get out of the area, otherwise good if using as a starting or end location for your stay.
Considering you over look the runway of a busy airport from your room you hear no noise. Different story from the pool which is outside, but the noise is not overbearing and the pool is very warm.

Not even for one night

Stayed for one night and that was one night too many. No shuttle came , so I walked from the airport. The room was old and dirty. Filthy windows & tub. Stained duvet cover. Tear in a lamp shade. The beds were horrible. One was stiff as a brick. One was without any seeming support.

Pros: Free Wi-Fi for the same price as other nearby hotels that charge for it. Easy access to and from airport, and excellent, helpful, courteous concierge
The concierge really helped us plan what to do during our one-day lay-over and how to get there.

Avoid this hotel

Pros: Staff that tried to make do....they were polite.
Cons: Drop the building and start over.....
After leaving the first room I was given because of the mold smell; my new room featured ceiling tiles which were rotting out, a desk that was the size of a shoebox, a bed with an upgraded feature that didn't work, and two chairs - one of which was broken and the second which had holes in it due to excessive usage. When I called to ask about other options - the frontdesk described all of the rooms as being the same.
