So-so. Cheap.

The walls are paper thin. I could hear every conversation in the adjoining room. As a result we were awakened too early. The hotel is also not as close to Universal SStudios as noted. The carpet was also vvery musty.

Affordable hotel. Good for short visits.

Pros: The staff was nice and the cleaning service did a good job.
Cons: The carpet in my room needed to be steamed.
Location: There are a lot of good places to eat near by if you are willing to take the time to look.
The staff was very nice and very responsive. The continental breakfast was fully stocked every morning. It is a little dirty and has not been renovated in a long time.

Unpleasant Stay at Ramada Inn ,Chatsworth

Pros: I only liked our upgraded room. The food quantities were so less and the same things were served everyday. I was upset by everything else.
My family and I stayed at Ramada Inn as we were visiting LA. They first put us in the Executive Room. There, the bathroom door wasn't locking and the dead bolt on the door was broken. We then called the reception and they sent a guy to get the bolt replaced. After he replaced it, my husband went out to get something from the store and when he came back, I tried opening the door but it wouldn't. It turns our that the guy who replaced the bolt had jammed and had done a terrible job. I was stuck inside the room. So I called reception and they again sent the same guy. I asked the guy to give me the screwdriver to remove the screws but he had jammed it so badly that I couldn't even unscrew it. Then I removed the other side and finally, after half an hour of hard work, the door finally opened. We asked them to shift us to another room, so they upgraded to the suite. Then later, they started asking us to change our room again, so we were really angry because of that. But we didn't move back. Then, we saw the condition of the swimming pool and were disgusted. Each day we stayed, they said they would clean it that day, but it never happened. How many ever times I told them they kept on giving an excuse and didn't clean it. One of the main reasons we came to this hotel was because of the swimming pool so DON'T TRUST THE PICTURES GIVEN ABOVE. Also, if you want something, you might have to wait for a while as the room service people take time. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS TO OTHERS. BEWARE!

Aim For Consistency in Exceellence

Pros: I liked that it was quiet ALL the time even though they had plenty of people in the Inn. The food was good. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean.
Cons: The terseness of the breakfast buffet manager could be less rude and one of the front desk concierge could be more polite in dealing with the patrons.
Location: Visit the Indian Museum, the Devil's Slide, the Old Stagecoach Route ALL at Chatsworth Park; The Munchbox;The Old Train Depot;climb Beethoven's Rock
The first stay was an absolute joy, very pleasurable. The second time around the staff was a bit more terse and not friendly as the first time.

It wasn't the best or the worst but everything in the room seemed old. And the AC wasn't the best. It could have been better.

Nice for just a night's sleep

Pros: Comfortable, the bed was nice and room was a nice size.
Room itself was fine, my biggest disappointment was the bathroom floor. I stepped out of the shower and basically created mud. The parking lot is a little scary if you are a young woman who is staying by herself, like I was. A lot of men hanging around in groups with nothing else to do but make comments to you. But as soon as you get inside the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
