Lovely hotel! Nice area and the staff is amazing!!

Posted Jan 25, 2015
My friend and I stayed here for about 8 days. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was amazing! They were so friendly and always made sure we were well taken care of. Housekeeping and valet provided excellent service. The area is safe and very practical as well. The people around are friendly and not to noisy either. Amazing experience!

Perfect 10, except both elevators not working

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: Everything.
Cons: A scale for guests to use from housekeeper or front desk before they check out to make sure that guests don't over pack their suitcases for airlines.
The location is perfect, the area surrounding the hotel is ideal for walking and shops, pharmacy, FedEx, post office, Starbucks, many restaurants and super market. I have stayed here many times and every time is better and improved as they seem to continue improve the facilities all the time. You can self park or using valet service and it's $30/night, that is the going rate around the area. Will return again next visit.

great location, within walking distance to all

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: location
Cons: staff could groom themselves better. hotel felt a little scrappy : messy reception, could see into the back office (also messy).
Location: bars, bars, brunch, restaurants, boys, bars.
The rooms are comparable to many so-called 5 star hotels. it lacks the amenities of those hotels though (but if you're just sleeping who really cares): lobby is not 'grand', the entrance is in a covered parking lot, the standard of staff presentation (dress, hair, overall kemptness), inefficient systems (parking billing, lots of written receipts). the hotel attracts a party crowd, and since we were in an adjoining room, we could hear our neighbors' party. if you're only sleeping here, all of this didn't bother me.

Great location for West Hollywood

Posted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: Location to WeHo
Cons: Bathrooms and room ammenities need to be updated
Location: Sur was the reason we booked here. It's a 5 minute walk down Santa Monica, not the 45 minute walk that the front desk agent advised
The hotel felt tired and not quite matching their descriptions. The ammenities are in need of an update. The staff were very helpful and were only there one night so can't complain too much

Good Location & Clean

Posted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: Clean, New, Safe
Cons: The curtains has to cover the windows!
Location: If you wanna shop, take the bus right outside the hotel to Rodeo Drive or walk to Beverly Center in 15 mins.
We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. The location is great! The hotel room is clean with small issues that I expected after reading the comments here before making my booking - The curtains are weird, they are beautiful but cannot cover up the window properly. Only one layer of thin white sash covers the window while the thicker part is at the side. That's okay if you are not planning on sleeping past 7am but irritating if you intend to sleep in that day. So we used our hair clips to secure the side curtains together to cover up the window as much as possible. Made things better but light still could come in. Heater works well in the shower and everything is relatively clean. Saw comments about the low shower head, but realised that you can actually push it up a little higher if you are taller. For my height, not an issue. Walks are quite thin so you can expect to hear your neighbours. The chambermaids start work early and will bash into your room by 8am if your door is not latched. So make sure you do that if you are sleeping in. They are nice people generally though. Reception staff are also friendly and helpful when we checked in and out even helping us arrange for taxi to airport at flat fee. The area is relatively safe, a popular hangout for gays. Bus stop is just 1 minute walk from hotel. Will definitely stay there again when I visit LA.

Family stay at Ramada Suites Weho

Posted Dec 28, 2014
Great location but honestly one of the worst showers I have ever experienced and with 4 people staying in a room for four, I had to call the front desk every day to ask for a fourth towel which was annoying, to say the least! Overall a great spot and hotel well suited to family with two teenage kids with convenient 24/7 diner next door.

Excellent Central Location

Posted Dec 15, 2014
The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The room, though small, was very adequate and very clean. The negative was the banging and loud crashes from the trash trucks picking up and dropping the huge garbage bins at 6:00am Sunday morning.
