OverbookedPosted Jan 19, 2015
They over booked and wanted me to move to a hotel 15 minutes away, the staff wasn't very nice about it but when I spoke with a manager it was much better. Ended up staying in the hotel after refusing to move. The lobby is very very nice but the rooms, although clean and new, are nothing special. Location is very convenient -walking distance from the convention center and restaurants.

Good business hotelPosted Jan 9, 2015
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: WiFi in rooms, not just lobby, should be free. More towels would be nice.
Location: Pine Street restaurants, convention center, marina
Great view of the harbor and bay. Convenient location.

Nice hotel close to entrance to fitz and tantrumPosted Jan 3, 2015
I picked this hotel so i could b close to New Years eve fitz n tamtrum concert. It was nice hotel and they had a lobby dj dancing event which was free for guest. They had taco stand for late muchies. Hotel bar and restaurant was outstanding. Service was great in all dept. Room was pretty big and huge bathroom. Bed was comfty king. Huge wrap around windows. Hotel parking was $20 a lot but hey u gotta live a lil n dont b cheap. Ac n heAter were great. Experience was dope. I want to go again for new years eve as the hotel was more popping then the concert.

Lay over from Catalina islandPosted Dec 26, 2014
Pros: The staff, room, location.
Cons: The price for parking is expensive and also the lobby bar @ $6.50 a domestic beer made the decision to go across the street a no brainer.
Location: The location was a short drive from Catalina Express. All types of restaurants and bars within walking distance.
Finished working in Catalina island and decided to stay in long beach for the night so to get an early A.M. start to Vegas, my home.

I had an excellent room overlooking the port area.Posted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: Location and clean lines
Cons: Valet parking could be more competitive.
Location: Restaurant right across the street.
Check in was effective and quick even though I arrived at 23:30. The staff was very courteous both at the restaurant, front desk etc. The rooms appeared to be recently appointed thus the hotel looked new!

Stay was wonderful.Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Charge for parking.
Location: It was near just about everything. Restaurants, bars, Drug Stores.
The only problem I had was I was quoted $16 from Expedia and I was charged $20 a day for parking. I even called Expedia and they confirmed the price of $16.
