Not usually one to complain, but this was BAD

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Just about nothing, the staff were rude, and sort of incompetent.
Cons: General cleanliness, friendlier staff, real pictures of the rooms being booked.
Location: LA live is less than a mile away, which is where I spent my weekend, and luckily all we used the room for was to sleep.
I booked a room here months ago when there were really great rates. The picture shown on Expedia showed a pretty decent room, which was not representative of what I walked into. My room was advertised as "roomy" and it was anything but. I'd say it was the size of the average bedroom, with chipped paint, broken AC unit, etc. It was miserable to stay there, and I absolutely won't ever again.

Great location but needs a reno.

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: I really like the location but that's all this hotel has to recommend it.
Cons: Update the whole place and try to make it look current and cheerful!
Location: Close to the downtown central metro station,Target,Macy's and California Pizza Kitchen Restaurant(pleasant place with good service, food and prices).
Needs an update badly.Old and threadbare bedspreads, old plumbing and depressing decor.Lobby looks better than the rooms.Breakfast was decent but in a dark and cheerless room next to the lobby.Service was adequatel and polite.

Inexpensive, good shopping, dining, Metro location

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Welcoming and helpful personnel.
Cons: Updating.
Location: Best feature was proximity to Metro.
Location was good and lobby was welcoming. I reserved online and thought the room would be better. It was mostly clean, but the room (a double bed)was very small and paint and carpets need updating.

You get what you pay for

room was small but clean. TV didn't work but no big deal we didn't need it. AC wall unit was righ next to the bed, it was warm so we had to use it. Problem was that it hit me all night and I got sick. Really sick.

Los Angeles on the Cheap

Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: Simply outdated and showing that fact.
Cons: Staff is excellent! Just improve on air conditioning and décor.
For the price was okay. Close to everything you want to do Downtown including the new Target and excellent restaurants, however the room and comfort left much to be desired. It was 85 degrees outside and in my room it was about 80. Window unit was trying very hard to keep up but failed to do the job. Room very outdated as well as elevator very old. Do not go by the lounge is all I can say. Staff was excellent and with every need I had was very professional. If you don't have to be in the room except to sleep like I was then this place is the best bang for your buck.

Not worth $100

Posted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Rooms badly need updating.
I not sure where to start; the old, never remodeled rooms, the tiny bathroom, etc. It appears any "refresh" has been applied only to common areas such as the lobby. The rooms have surface mounted conduit for wiring that looks like it hasn't been touched in fifty years. The wall outlets were minimal, and generally not accessible. In an attempt to provide more outlets, there were several under-sized extension cords run under the carpet (pretty sure this is against code everywhere), and those cords didn't accommodate grounded, three-prong plugs. In order to use the provided coffeemaker, I had to use the outlet in the bathroom. There was no iron/ironing board in the room, no wash cloths, and no luggage stand. There were several empty, awkward spaces that added no useable area to the room. In short, this is what I would expect in a $35/night room in a rundown area.

A great, convenient value

Posted Feb 28, 2015
Pros: The proximity to transit and is near Performing Arts Center......2 stops on Metro.
Cons: A small fridge and/or microwave would be nice in the suites.
Location: Sports and convention facilities are near, by and the Disney Hall and Music Center are just 2 stops on the Metro.
I had an easy, quick check-in since I had reserved in advance. This hotel is near activities which interest me, so the proximity is great and is near transit.

便利なロケーション

Posted Feb 15, 2015
Pros: ロケーション
レンタカー(AVIS)も近く、電車も近く、良いレストランも徒歩圏内。 ただしホテルのサービスには不満が残る
