Beware!!!!!Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: The lobby.
Cons: Almost everything could be improved including the nasty attitudes of the employees.
Location: Near Staples Center and Downtown LA
When we arrived, the desk could not find our reservation. After ten minutes they finally found it but told me I could only have a room with one bed. I told them that when I made the reservation, I only made it because a room with tow twins was available. They pretty much told me I was wrong and lying. I pulled up the reservation and showed them. I was right. They never apologized. They said they did not have a clean room with two twins and that they would have to get one ready. This really made me wonder about the hotel since it was now 9:30 PM. We finally got a room after 45 minutes of waiting. The lobby nice but the room was disgusting. Other than the lobby, the entire place was pretty much disgusting. The hand towels had obviously been used. When I pulled back the covers, the sheets had hairs in them. The TV did not work. We were so sickened we could hardly sleep. There was no hot water to take a shower. In the morning there was hot water but it literally trickled. We checked out as quickly as could in the morning. The desk clerk never bothered to ask how our stay was. Maybe they did not want to know.

Never going backPosted Jul 20, 2014
No cold water in the shower, had to take a scorching hot shower even after they "fixed" it, and the air conditioner was on full blast but still hot in our room, never recommending this place to anyone unless I hate them

Walking distance to convention center, no parking at hotel, would be nice if you had option to check out a fridge & microwave. Breakfast was good

1 night stay for concert at the Nokia theatre.Posted Jun 7, 2014
The hotel is old and could use some updates in the common areas. Is it that expensive to have new carpet put in the elevators? Otherwise the staff was friendly and efficient. Room was large and perfect for the purpose of our stay.

Hotel close to friend's son's weddingPosted Jun 6, 2014
Pros: Room service was ok, and complimentary breakfast was good
Cons: Enlarge bathroom/shower space to allow enough room to put toiletries. Replace the window air conditioner with a less noisy one.
Location: We were there for a friend's son's wedding. Not on a sightseeing/vacation trip.
Hotel had no parking facilities. Hotel building was quite old. Noisy window air conditioner. Bathroom/shower was very small. As you sit on the commode, the opposite wall is right in your face! Very limited shelf space by the side of the small sink to put your toiletries. Shower was small enough to give me claustrophobia! No place in the shower to put your shampoo, brush, etc. Door dead bolt was missing the stem that locks the door. We could not use the dead bolt.
