“unwelcoming”

there are not enough parking spaces even if one counts one car per room front desk staffed by curt people no shampoo even on request noisy environment not recommended for even $40 or $50 less per night

it is an ok area.... just have to be prepared for the noise.

“Don't waste your money. I would've paid the extra $10 for the Best Western.”

TERRIBLE hotel. RIPOFF and a lie. We arrived at 530pm. checkin time was 3. our room was still not ready til almost 6pm. we had a concert to go to so that pushed us back quite a bit. The pool was GREEN. Looked like it hadn;t been cleaned in weeks. Our toilet was broken, wouldn;t stop running til we jiggled the handle. I would NOT recommend this hotel. TO ANYONE. Shady management and only about 8 parking spots.

“Clean and comfortable for the price”

The room AND bathroom were very clean. The room was simple, comfortable and had conveniences. The building was relatively quite considering it was on a busy street. Very convenient to attend jazz festival at Hollywood Bowl. The staff are very courteous and helpful. And the price was reasonable.

“Not bad for one or two nights”

Good location, lot's of public transport nearby, 1000 feet to hollyiwood blvd., Codac theatre...It was rather noisy in the room on mornings because of traffic.

“Good location - clean”

Great location - right near all the happening - place was pretty clean, you get what you pay for as far as everything else, but still - I enjoyed it.

“good location, that's about it”

I don't like to write bad reviews. I am usually very tolerant. I hope the other rooms in the hotel were better than ours. Ours had a very bad smell, musty, stale and moldy. The carpet was so dirty you couldn't see the real color. The door didn't close properly so there was a large gap all the way around it, so every sound from outside could be heard inside and it definitely wasn't secure. The location was good. We could walk to see the sights. That was the only good thing, sorry to say.

“Good location.”

Location is perfect but no enough parking spaces for ll guests. Hotel needs some remodelation. looks old. Good for th price I paid for.

“Average Hotel, Fun Location”

Bed was not too hard Sheet had stains on it. We probably could have complained but we didn't feel like it. The shower tub drain was kinda gross. Location was great a short walk to Hollywood Blvd down Highland. This brings you to the most "happening" area of Hollywood with the "stars", Mann Chinese theater, El Capitan, and the Hollywood and Highland Complex (lots of stores and restaurants and the Kodak Theater)..
