“Great family hotel.”

Great hotel for travelers not interested in the grand hotel experience. Very clean rooms and pool area. All amenities including laundry room! Parking a little tight. Fantastic location for Universal Studios, Warner Brothers, and Hollywood. Everyone very friendly and helpful.

“WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY FOR ALL AGES”

We have stayed numerous times at the Safari Inn, in the last year or so! When we opened our door to room 217 on Tuesday night, we were pleasantly surprised with the decor change! Most fitting for the hotel, I'd say! Always comfortable & affordable & with Olive's Bistro across the street, you can't miss having wonderful stay!

“Nice place to stay in L.A.”

We really enjoy our stay on this Hotel. Really helpful staff! Comfortable bed! Close to Universal Studios, we went by bus. Safety area. Close to Hollywood but by car. Other good thing about the hotel was free parking spaces. About food, It has a small restaurant really close by, Olive Restaurant, with nice food and good prices. We had breaksfast every morning there and it was perfect!

Standard rooms but very clean and well kept! Pool warm and inviting! Good parking, central location for studio visits.... Only wish that they offered two queen sized beds instead of the double... Would denitely book again!

hotel room and service was great but didn't care for restaurant as they only had 1 waiter for the whole dining room; several tables had food on them from previous customers and the waiter was rushed as he had the whole room

GREAT LOCATION FOR UNIVERSAL STUDIOS AND HOLLYWOOD WITHOUT THE EXPENSIVE COST OF BIG NAME HOTELS, SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY ON THE KIDS.VERY FRIENDY STAFF, HELPFUL WITH DIRECTIONS AROUND TOWN. GOOD DONUT SHOP CLOSE AND CVS 1 BLOCK. GOOD FOR FAMILIES ON BUDGET. POOL WAS NICE AND HEATED WITH LOCKED GATE. WILL BE BACK!!!

“Very Good Hotel”

Aside from a not so good wifi access, the hotel is very good. It's easy to find and we were allowed for an early check in. We were able to start our day fast.

“super convenient motel”

I can't really find a downside to this place! We stayed 4 nights in a mix of work and vacation- the location was perfect - close to our work meeting, close (under 4 miles) to the Bob Hope Airport and an under 15 min drive to: checking out the Hollywood sign, Grauman's Chinese Theater, Universal Studios & City Walk, The Tonight Show, plus good close by restaurants and very convenient CVS next door (since we had a very useful fridge!) This hotel was clean, the decor was fun, a nice pool, and really helpful staff. Free parking, nice! Kinda cool that you can recognize it from an assortment of movies and tv shows.
