Great for the fairgoerPosted Oct 2, 2013
Pros: A few steps from the fair entrance. Nice lobby and very comfortable lounge area. Lunch was very good.
Cons: Better inspection of room cleaning.
Location: LA County Fair
Nice room for the money. Hotel was full, due to the annual fair activities, but was surprisingly quiet. Carpet next to one of the beds had an obvious spill of fruit or jelly, and looked a bit dirty overall. A little disappointed, as I frequently stay at Starwood hotels, but I will give the hotel another try.

perfect for the County FairPosted Oct 1, 2013
Pros: The room, the bar, the restaurant.
Location: We came for the fair and the location was perfect, it was a 3 minute walk, out the back door, across the lawn, and there was the ticket booth.
We chose this hotel because it was well-rated and because we wanted to be close to the Fairplex. We were pleased with everything about our stay, we had no problems and staff were accommodating.

Happy Fair TimePosted Oct 1, 2013
Pros: They have a pool and hot tub. The Restaurant was quaint and the food was great.
Location: For years we have wanted to go to the Pomona Fair but it's hot and we get tired. This hotel is steps away from one of the entrances. Great location.
This hotel was one of the best I have stayed in, however What a rip off Expedia was. When I booked the room it said I got free breakfast, parking and WiFi. When We got there none of this was included. The hotel though was fantastic. Our room was more like a small condo and very comfy, including the dreaded bed. I have massive problems with my back and hate to travel because I don't like to sleep in soft, plumpy, beds but this was great.

Hotel was good overallPosted Sep 20, 2013
Pros: Room Fine, Bed Fine, Front Desk Excellent. Coffee in room good ( Need more creamers).
Cons: Bar Staff a little cool for me. Water in Shower took a while to heat up. Not a deal breaker as it did heat up .
Location: LA County Fair for clients and family was good.
This is the first time I stayed at the Sheraton Fairplex. I had a meeting the next morning and I wanted to meet several people at the LA County Fair for a informal get together. The Front Desk staff were great as was the Bar Manager Mr. Kelley, other evening bar staff need a refresher in customer relations. The Room was also very functional. Bed Fine , Layout fine Bathroom fine. Shower took a while to warm up so be aware . As a Platinum traveler .This Hotel is a good stay for a trip to Pomona.

DisappointingPosted Sep 10, 2013
Pros: It was 50 feet from the LA county fair that we were going to. It was simple to go back and forth.
Cons: Better customer service.
Location: In September it is right next to the LA county fair.
The king room we requested and confirmed 2days before arriving was over sold. We were put in a double but given a free breakfast. At the buffet breakfast we were unable to get a server to do anything. We had to get our own drinks. I wasn't offered any service until they cleared my plate and we were leaving then. Very disappointing.

Perfect room - Almost!Posted Sep 2, 2013
I really loved our room at the Sheraton Fairplex in Pomona, CA. It was a King suite, in a perfect setup. The bed was quite comfy, the bathroom roomy with a separate toilet/shower area, and the separate "living room" roomy with a second large-screen tv and a sliding door to close it off from the bedroom. After the first night, I was thinking it was the perfect hotel room. The only reason I did not give this hotel five stars is that no one came to clean it after the first night, nor did they replenish the coffee supply (probably a bigger deal than the cleaning). However, I will chalk that up to an unfortunate oversight. We all make mistakes, right?! I would definitely stay here again.
