Pros: Location is good.
Some rooms are much more pleasing than others. Once I had a small room that was just OK. Another time, I had a much larger room that made me a lot happier.

Great place to stay! Location is excellent!

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: We loved the service, especially the shuttle drivers. They were extremely helpful, giving us good advice...from restaurants to tours. Henry, the man!
Cons: Food
Location: Location, location, location!!! The shuttle can take you to the Norton Simon Museum, Old Pasadena and other nearby places.
There is nothing about the hotel that I consider negative, except the restaurant food which was mediocre.

Beds Very Hard

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: It was chosen for its proximity to the Convention Center, and it was fine.
Cons: The fridge temperature needs to be regulated so as not to freeze items, the mattresses could be a bit softer, and maybe some soundproofing
Location: I was there for a convention and did not go exploring
Hotel is fine. It's clean, food in restaurant is decent. The beds (at least in my room) are very hard, but with comfortable pillows and plush bedding. But the rock hard mattress made it hard to sleep through the night. The fridge was kept on minimum cold setting and it froze everything that I put inside it--that was annoying. The walls are quite thin, I was kept awake by the gentleman in the next room having very loud phone conversations. But the room was clean. The bar staff was great, the front desk staff didn't seem overly knowledgeable about anything I asked them, but they were friendly.

Unpleasant

Posted Apr 2, 2015
Upon entering the room, we smelled dirty feet (must of been carpet) Our bed was like a hammock. And the air conditioner made a racketing sound all night long.. Didn't get much sleep. Was not happy and checked out next morning and looked for another Hotel (a pain). Staff was nice and front desk manager was apologetic but something needs to be done about taking cleanliness to the next level other than the basic change sheets and wipe down.. Needs regular maintenance, carpet cleaning, and product replacement

Great hotel next door to convention center

Posted Mar 20, 2015
Pros: This hotel was very clean, comfortable and quiet with a very professional and helpful staff. They also have free shuttle service.
Location: Located next door to the convention center. Shopping and restaurants are located directly across the street.
Had a very relaxing stay. We were attending a conference at the convention center next door so the location is perfect with great restaurants & shopping just across the street. They also have a large parking structure so parking is not a problem.

At first look all is nice and clean but when you look up close, it's not as clean as it could or should be. Light switch in the bathroom was very grimy and when I was working out in the fitness center there was a dead bug, eww! The bar and resturant were a great look up front but I wondered what they looked like behind the scene.

Close to old city, small pool

Posted Feb 18, 2015
The location is Very close to Old Pasadena downtown shops and restaurants. Comfortable beds as you would expect from Sheraton. We liked everything except for parking and pool. Pool was small and was chilly due to shadows cast from the building. The sun reaches the pool from 11AM until 4PM when it goes under the shadow again (this was February so I think it will get better in summer) Parking spaces were dark and cost extra 18$. I was a bit disappointed at check in when the small lobby was invaded by a group of flight attendants and the front desk didn't control people bulging in to cut the lines, and this is the only reason I give 3points to staff service, but the housekeeping staff were quite friendly. It's just a straightforward downtown hotel with a mix of business and pleasure located central to attractions.
